If you don't understand immigration policy and USCIS's unorthodox ways of processing cases then you best be sure you don't want to file things by yourself. By no means am I uneducated on the matter, everybody is free to do their research and file on their own accord but I'd rather have someone who has done it a thousand of times do it for me when it comes to serious matters like being with your loved ones in the shortest timeframe possible. I didn't lose any sleep over having filed the wrong forms and potentially having my case delayed I don't know how many months. You are essentially paying for time with Boundless.
The quick and accurate response from FROIDELYN. She quickly analyzed a complex question and responded quickly with an accurate answer.
Ivy provided me with great costumer service and answered all my questions as well as resolved all my issues with a sense of urgency, could not be happier with the service. Fast, accurate, and reliable!
Don't waste your time, or your money. Hire an actual immigration attorney, because these people have no idea what they're doing. They do not have actual immigration lawyers look over your paperwork, but most likely interns. Definitively someone that has no understanding of immigration laws. They sent my husband and I on a complete runaround. From not properly checking the papers, to collecting money for services they never provide and paperwork they have no intention of filing. They continually replied with messages that stated they needed “additional” documents. Documents which had already been uploaded! Most of the costumer service representatives do not speak English properly and are therefore unable to follow your questions and concerns and consequently either gloss over/ignore your messages entirely, or will tell you the same thing they're trained to tell you in- “get them off of your back, we just want their money, doesn't matter how we treat them.”- camp. Now, the language barrier is something I am familiar with myself. When I first moved to the US I was in a similar dilemma, however, I would have never applied for a position anywhere which would have required me to be perfectly fluent in English reading, writing and speaking. It makes for an appalling, time-wasting and irritating experience for the costumer. This is just a side note. Furthermore a letter of denial, for application of permanent residency, which I had received years prior to my current case with them (with my ex husband, mind you, not my husband currently), was uploaded by myself from the beginning of hiring this company. It took them around 4 months and my husband and I running around, collecting documents, stressing, dealing with the anxiety of all of this and then getting all the way up to their “independent immigration attorney” to look over our paperwork, to tell us that they couldn't help our case, because of my past letter of denial. Which the attorney asked me to upload another... 3 times, I think? Most likely because they did not check the paperwork thoroughly as they typically never did.... I should have known from the beginning that this was a mistake, given the fact that when I paid the fees for their services, they basically did nothing but compile all documents that my husband and I were required to sign, sent them to us for signing and then expected us to do basically everything else. We were the ones working and they collected $1,300.00 to copy and paste some pages. In addition to this disaster, when I first paid the retainer fee I asked the agent, probably 4 times, SPECIFICALLY, If this was the cost of the entire undertaking (their services as well as the documents required by the government to file) and was assured SEVERAL times, by not just the representative, but also his manager, that this was the cost in Its' entirety. Well, the surprise was, well, definitely worse than any surprise I have ever had when I was later finally informed, right before filing the paperwork, that another $2,500.00 was needed in order to continue the process. Needless to say, I am sitting here now, waiting for my full refund and my husband and I are at our wits end. We are not financially stable enough to hire a full fledged immigration attorney, hence why I hired this company in the first place, and we have no idea how we can solve this problem now and how we can travel to my home country of Germany to see my family and my new nephews and nieces for the very first time, after a long 16 years of being in the US, without ever having been able to go back home. Including at the time that my father took his last breath, dying of cancer in 2021.
