Bed arrived at 8.30pm!! Husband and I went to put it together the following day to find a complete pack of feet and bolts etc missing..phoned beds direct..no apology at all and it took 3 days to get what we needed via Royal Mail..bed is lovely at least…

Sadly I had to chase my order a few times and original delivery was slow. When the product was delivered it was incorrect and had to be returned. However, the company were very quick to rectify the error with delivery of the correct product being made very expeditiously, hence the three stars rather than less.

Decent quality. Still struggle to understand how divan base can be £500 though. It’s just fabric and timber. Hence not 5 star.

British Beds themselves were fantastic, I got free samples of various fabrics to help me decide which to go for. Once I’d decided the order went through quickly and communication was great. If I had any queries someone was always on the other end of the phone and were more than happy to help me. Once my bed moved to the courrier however is where it all went wrong. Having paid for a quick delivery as I was desperate for my bed they held it in a warehouse for over a week. I had no communication despite it being promised then they turned up 3 hours early when I was still in my old bed. This was very distressing having by being told the day before a very different delivery window. I suggest finding a better delivery company who actually cares about their customers and can communicate effectively, and most importantly deliver what they promise.

After a terrible experience as per my last review, I am very happy to say matter was resolved, and a very good resolution, for which I am very greatful. I can say when things don't work out its a terrible journey for a customer,but when issue is recognised and understood it does help issue to be put aside happily. Thank you British Beds Direct.

Dreadful experience. Only one man delivery rather than the two as stated. Would not assist my husband with carrying the mattress to our bedroom when delivery to chosen room was stated. Absolutely no instructions included for putting the bed together!

Fabric samples arrived very quickly. I wanted a couple of low profile divan bases which are not that easy to find - these look well made and were a reasonable price. Delivery was brilliant too.
