Aug 14,2022Quality is much less than expected, numerous loose threads and material including finish tatty around most exposed edges. We paid for clearly stated 2 man delivery, only one man i.e. the driver delivered. This was an obvious struggle for this super king sized bed. So we agreed for him to just put each section inside and my wife and I manhandled them into the bedroom, ourselves. This driver should never have been sent out on his own like that and is a sad state of affairs with employees being taken advantage of and yet still charging us customers the extra costs. The pistons requested were 1000N as agreed both on the phone before ordering and also after to make sure. What we received were 800N pistons. This is all untrustworthy imho and would not encourage me to buy from you again.

Aug 13,2022We bought an Ottoman bar a while back and received a lot of helpful advice at the time. Since then we’ve discovered that our exceptionally heavy mattress calls for stronger lift pistons. We’ve had them supplied by first class post, no quibble, no return of old ones and helpful advice on swapping new for old. That’s what I call customer service, thank you.

Aug 12,2022The batons supplied are not long enough to secure the headboard to the bed base.However having contacted the supplier, they are helpful and are sending longer batons to us via post.sadly we have now been informed that they don’t have longer batons! The short batons cause the headboard to wobble.

Aug 05,2022Great bed but instructions were poor which wasted time. Such as what are those wooden blocks for? Oh to space the headboard so that the base will lift to get at the storage area. With no mention of blocks in the instructions we just left them out, built the bed with headboard and then realised the base wouldn't lift.... yawn. Good solidly built bed that arrived on time and actually arrived more pre-built than expected which was a definite positive!

Aug 05,2022Ordered bed, delivered within timescales, delivery crew polite so a good service overall. Product is of good quality although head board holes are on front end but as we don’t have a headboard it’s not an issue for us. Well packaged as well.

Three weeks later it was delivered by a couple of very friendly delivery personnel who put the bed in the room we wanted it in. Communications from British Beds Direct and the delivery crew were more than adequate. Would highly recommended the companies products and its delivery service.

Jul 30,2022Great quality bed and well constructed. The upgrade in choice of fabric looks great. Had to delay the manufacture of the bed until 2 weeks before we completed on a new house but this caused a delay on when the bed was required so had to wait an additional 2 weeks to recieve it. Well worth the wait. Thanks you. Recommended.

Jul 29,2022It was a pretty good experience. Communication was great and delivery was quicker than expected. My only disappointment was the wrapping for transport hadn't prevented the tie straps from marking the fabric on one side, but it was small and it was on a divan base so it's no big deal. I'd gladly buy another (and probably will).

We ordered a king size blanket box - the first one they sent had a couple of flaws in the material so we asked for some options - we could return it for a new one or we could get a partial refund. We thought it was an issue with the material we had chosen so we ordered some new samples (came v. quickly) and asked them if we could swap the box for a new one in a different material. They obliged and swapped it - collecting the old one at the same time as delivering the new one. You couldn't ask for better service, responsiveness and nicer people to deal with. I recommend highly.
