Nov 25,2020I saw a car I liked on buyacar and called them straight away. I had no idea how finance works and how the process goes but the staff at buyacar made everything easy for me and explained step by step what would happen. I can honestly say everything went smoothly especially given this pandemic and all businesses being quite slow this wasn’t one of them. Everything ran well from start to finish. They also call you up after a few weeks to see if everything is fine or if there’s any concerns which I find very comforting. I would highly recommend buyacar to anyone looking to purchase a car without a hassle :)

The car was in better condition than I could have ever hoped, as they only deal with the best dealerships. The staff are all very polite and I would highly recommend their services!

I would definitely recommend to others looking at buying a new car remotely and will certainly use again myself in a few years when it's time to change cars again.

Nov 22,2020I used buy a car 4 years ago and I'm at the end of my lease. I called up to arrange a new car. The gentleman I was dealing with without my consent went with a few companies for finance which led to one refusal which has now brought my rating down. When I had agreed a car and was talking about delivery, he was going to charge me £1000 because I live in the Outer Hebrides, it wasn't a problem 4 years ago and I kindly arranged to meet on the mainland like u had done 4 years ago but he would not go ahead with the contract. So now I'm still without a car and by him checking a few credit searches without my permission I have a lower credit rating

I would like to say how great Isabelle Lao was, she was our first point of call with Buy A Car and she couldn’t have been more helpful and was always willing to answer my questions. With her help she enabled me to find the perfect car. I was impressed with the process you adopt as you explained each step and I felt I could make a well informed decision which was great. Also the delivery process was perfect. The delivery driver was very friendly and phoned me to confirm that I would be in for the delivery of the car. The car meets our specifications and at present we haven’t had any problems. It came with all the documentation required which made me feel confident that I had made the right decision. Nov 21,2020Update on this review whilst I still stand by my original feelings towards the handling of my car etc I have since been contacted by the Buyacar team and can’t fault the lady I was in correspondence with and have also had garage fees for repairs paid back to me. My experience with BuyaCar.co.uk has been less than easy. I part exchanged my car for my new one and paid the remaining balance outright. Within a week of owning the new car I experienced a “power steering fault” light/alarm message on car. Concerned I phoned and emailed about this, only to then have to find my own garage to look at issue as Buyacar couldn’t offer a mechanic service of their own. After a diagnostic on the car the garage determined that it was not a fault with power steering as such but was still an electrical fault. I contacted Buyacar to let them know the garages findings and they reimbursed me for the cost of diagnostic works. Fine. Cut to one month later I was told via same email I had to get car booked in for another diagnostic check at an official manufacturers garage. Only slot I could get was a month later as yet again they offered no one who could look at my car, and even after the month I was told not to ok any work as they needed to ok price of diagnostic and work before they’d pay out. Obviously you don’t want to be driving around with a faulty car, so In the end I had to take car and pay to have problem fixed myself as warning of power steering fault became unbearable with warning message and alarm sounding. All in all a soured experience which I will never repeat by buying a car online again. Unlike the other reviews It’s only when you have a problem do you truly see how well a company handle it. Poorly!

Nov 20,2020The whole end-to-end process was seamless. They even handled my part exchange, gave me a fair value and paid my finance company directly without any intervention from me. My new car was delivered in good time and shape. I was kept in the loop through out the whole process and defo recommend anyone to give them a look when purchasing a car.

Nov 19,2020I was very unsure about buying my A car… I was very unsure about buying my A car online and not being able to test drive first, but I thought what have I got to loose, they’ve got the car I’ve been looking for a long time, so decided to buy it and what a great service I had all contact on the phone was amazing experience I’ve now had my car 1 month and I think it only took just under couple of weeks to get the car delivered. I’m so pleased with the service I’m receiving, I will definitely be recommending this to my friends.

Nov 18,2020I bought my vehicle back in February and all went well and was pleased with the efficiency of it all. Due to Covid lockdown, my home charging station was not installed until November. It was only then that I found out the The Type 1 charging cable was faulty and would not charge the car. I emailed buy-a-car who replied promptly, giving me a site where I could buy a cable and they would refund me. I was refunded the same day I purchased the cable. I am extremely pleased with the service I received.
