The Gaggia I wanted was discontinued on most sites i.e. Amazon etc. So found one from this company . Good price but awkward buying process , after purchase, I was emailed asking me to verify the branch and authorisation number from my bank ?.Did this but replies a bit slow , and slightly worrying. Anyway there was no need , what you need to remember is these machines are coming from Italy direct , so bound to be a delay. Be patient and emails do get answered. We finally got the machine delivered 10 days from purchase, but only after waiting for FEDEX to give us the correct time and date of delivery.{day late}.If you buy the "PRIME DELIVERY" take no notice also. But overall the machine works well and was provided with an adapter too. Thanks to Barbara and staff for good service and communication.
Found the LaPavoni coffee machine I wanted here for a great price. Paid a bit extra for fast delivery and it arrived from the manufacturer in Italy within a few days. When it arrived there was a small issue with the boiler knob but they arranged for a replacement to be sent immediately. Great customer service - thanks Matteo!
We've had a very similar experience to the complainant of 25 Nov. Our Bezzera Hobby arrived on 29th Oct and didn't froth milk. It made steam but didn't make frothy milk. First we were told there was nothing wrong with it. Then after more emails and phone calls, they sent us a link to a YouTube video (made by another company) to show us how to use the machine. We had already seen this video, having spent hours on the web, trying to make up for lack of help from Coffee Italia. They also suggested we buy a separate milk frother......Of course, we should buy a new machine to make up for the fact that the one they'd just sold us for £514 doesn't work (!) Makes a lot of sense. We asked for a refund and were told to turn the thermostat screw because the steam had too much water in it. So they admitted there's something wrong with it. Unfortunately this model doesn't have a thermostat.... We asked them to collect it for repair. Nothing happened after more phone calls and emails, so we sent it to their workshop but have been told they're busy. We have continued to request a refund, which is our legal right, but we get no reply and they have our money and our non-functioning brand new machine. If you get a good machine and any service from this company, count yourself lucky. They appear to have no system of recording customer complaints because we had to repeat everything every time we contacted them, even though we always gave our order no. #UK100118559
Over 30 days and still waiting on any support from this company. Have called up the hotline multiple times and was ignored then hung up on. I'd really watch out when ordering from here.

Ordered an espresso machine and a grinder. Both arrived later than the UPS scheduled delivery date (so I was waiting in for nothing), and both shipped with a dangerous and illegal unfused adaptor plug. Very disappointing from what appeared to be a reputable seller. Invoice numbers were UK100119451 and UK100119465 The sale was a clear breach of the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994 as it did not come with a UK plug or a suitable adaptor (unfused removable travel adaptors are not suitable adaptors!). To be clear I am not asking for a refund, I have just fitted plugs, and the goods are otherwise perfect, this is just a warning to other buyers.

Order #UK100119025 Gaggia Brera - ordered 23rd October 2020, received 29th October and was faulty. Next day rang and was told (by very brusk man) to send an email. Sent email and video and asked for a replacement. Got back an email saying there was metal in the grinder and they attached a video on how to take the machine apart and fix it myself. Rang Gaggia UK who were lovely and provided me with a letter saying they advised not to touch it as this would invalidate the warranty. Then asked for money back as Cafè Italia’s advice was so bad I was feeling really uneasy about the whole thing but specifically the advice to fix a new machine myself. Eventually they paid for it to go back but said I had to wait for a report before I would get my money. Then they said they had fixed it and would be sending it back to me. I refused this and kept asking for my money back. Eventually I had to contact Amazon Pay (my method of payment thankfully) who within a few hours got them to agree to a refund. BUT they only gave me part of it and said they were keeping the rest (£67) to cover the cost of repairing it. Amazon Pay again were great and got the, to give me the rest of my money back. This was such a stressful experience and totally took the pleasure of buying a bean to cup machine. Have gone back to my pod machine for now. In my opinion they should be pulled up for this behaviour, from reading other reviews here it appears I am not alone I’m having a bad experience. UPDATE ON CAFÈ ITALIA REPLY Part one of their reply is correct - brand new machine and they advised to clean grinder. HOWEVER - this requires you to take the grinder apart which invalidates your warranty, as confirmed by Gaggia UK when I contacted them. They did collect the machine FOC They then said it had a piece of metal in it! Does anyone want a brand new machine that has had metal in the grinder and then fixed WITHOUT THE MACHINE EVER WORKING - even once. The refund had to be obtained through Amazon Pay as Cafè Italia only wanted to return the fixed machine to me. Had to contact Amazon Pay TWICE - as the first time Cafè Italia only gave me a part refund and kept the rest £67.47 as payment for fixing the brand new machine that never worked.

I purchased a Gaggia Classic Pro refurbished machine from the website last thursday (5/11/2020) and then was getting slightly nervous as i'd read all the reviews on this site about the customer service. I emailed on monday to find out about the order and get a tracking number too. On the tuesday i received an email from Vanessa saying there was a problem with the refurbished model and they'd be sending out a brand new one instead. The following day the machine was shipped via Fed Ex, i was emailed a tracking number and was able to set up alerts via Fed Ex's website to see when the machine was being delivered. This morning, friday, the machine was delivered safely to my house. Great service all round.
Ich möchte gar keinen Stern vergeben!!!!! Ich habe am 15.9.20 eine La Pavoni bestellt und diese innerhalb von 24 STUNDEN storniert. Trotzdem wurde sie zu meinem Ärgernis verschickt und ich habe sie sofort auf eigene Kosten (36 Euro!!!) zurückgeschickt. Ein Unding!!! Danach kam keine Reaktion. Nach mehrmaligem Fragen hieß es am erst 18.10 !!!! innerhalb der nächsten 10 Tage sollte das Geld da sein. Nichts ist da und ich bekomme wieder keine Reaktion... Ich werde jetzt meinen Anwalt einschalten....Frechheit ist das und ein Laden der verboten gehört.

We were searching for the best espresso coffee machine on the internet and found COFFE CULT. My husband established contact with Mateo and decided to buy a Bezzera Mitica S MN espresso coffee machine and a CEADO E6P automatic coffee grinder together with other related accessories. We were very excited, however I made a big mistake with the payment and accidentally transfer two times the total cost from my bank account. I called Mateo to let him know the double payment I made and he made me sure that I will get back the extra money I paid. Giada was taking over our order and handling everything with us. After few days our extra paid money was in our bank account. We very much enjoy the good service and professionalism from Coffee Cult-Caffe Italia sales persons Mateo and Giada. I must mention that the prices we got were the lowest we could find in the market.
I read a number of the reviews on TrustPilot - unfortunately after I had placed an order. However, prior to that I used the website to work out what I wanted and then called to get some advice. I spoke with Marco. Very helpful, very knowledgable and understood my requirements immediately and helped with a selection of products. I placed the order. Then I read the reviews and had a sleepless night. I phoned back and spoke with Marco who was busy but charming and reassuring. I followed up with an email and customer service responded with some approximate delivery details. It turned out both products were being shipped from Italy and both via DHL. The grinder arrived exactly as expected and is bigger than I expected but fabulous. It had European plug but came with an adapter which works fine. Now the coffee machine, bigger and heavier, also delivered in perfect condition and on time despite lock downs everywhere and a global pandemic. ** Credit to DHL and Caffe Italia team **. It arrived with a European plug and the same adapter - cable is decently thick so I don't think there is any problem with that either. The instructions were basic (haha - understatement) so back to Marco and Matteo who helped again. Since then I bought some scales which also arrived very quickly. After an initially slightly worrying start (unfounded) it all turned out very well and I would buy again from Caffe Italia. The team know their stuff and made great recommendations. The pricing is very good and the choice of products is good too. I forgot to mention - the espresso is delicious and the end-to-end experience is great - which is what it is all about.
La pavoni arrived without portafilter. Took me a month and a half to get a replacement. Unhelpful on the phone and terse to the extreme by email. No apology has been offered.
