Apr 16,2025I reordered the same carcover I purchased in April, 2024. I received a different carcover and my request for relief fell on deaf ears. They asked me to email my credit card information so they could charge me to return the carcover they sent me in error. I suggest you read the fine print on their "Perfect Fit" guarantee before considering a purchase.

Mar 27,2025I recently ordered two of their top of the line Gold Shield 5L covers, one for my Volvo, the other for my Ineos Grenadier. Both orders were shipped promptly but neither fit the car snuggly. Both covered the car but neither was a custom fit as described on their web page. Here’s what they say: “ No matter the model, we have a cover that will fit it snugly. ” Not true for my cars. Both covers have lots of loose material that flaps in the breeze. Neither is a custom fit, their description notwithstanding. If you use these and you have any sort of dust in the environment that creeps in as the covers flap, you will have damage to your car’s finish. Save your money and buy a decent cover somewhere else.

Mar 27,2025The covers fall apart and their lifetime warranty is prorated and charges shipping for a open box replacement. The covers only come with 1 tie down point so the hood and trunk are always left uncovered. I've never seen a material fall apart like this

Mar 14,2025I purchased a Gold Sheild 5L car cover from CarCover.com with a lifetime warranty. The first cover lasted not quite 3 years. I requested a replacement and was charged $30 for freight. This second lifetime warranty cover lasted 2 years. When I requested a replacement, the company wanted $84. When I questioned the price, I was told they prorate the cover. Do not be fooled by the term Lifetime. Read all the warranty fine print. The company does not stand behind the product. Buy from a different company.

Mar 12,2025So-Far everything is Fine. The Shipping Box was Damaged, with a hole/Tear about 4 inches long, but the inner Plastic Bag was NOT so it looks like the Truck Cover will be OK. We have not put the Cover onto the Truck yet because the Vehicle is Dirty from Winter Driving, so until we get a warm day to give the truck a Wash-job, we will NOT be able to tell you if the Cover Fits Correctly or Not.

Mar 08,2025I purchased the Gold Shield 5L for my 2022 CorvetteZ51 since it was advertised to withstand all weather extremities. Within 6 months the cover was breaking down and absorbing water leaving my car wet. I contacted customer service, and they offered to send me a replacement for $35.99. I asked if they improved the quality since they were sending me the same one and they said no. I refused the offer since it will only happen again in time. They even went further to offer me a fully waterproof cover that they are not yet selling on their website for $100.00. This company is a scam and make money off customer with their bogus lifetime warranty. Stay away from them because you will only fall victim.

Feb 20,2025This is my second time using the warranty from CarCovers.com in 41/2 years. Lifetime warranty and now they want me to pay to ship it back so they can inspect, pictures aren't good enough! I would be without a cover during the winter for a months...so they are sending patches, thats their lifetime warranty! The cover protects great at first but then seems to degrade quickly. First one grommets broke and came apart ot the seems. This one developed several holes and a tear, im assuming snow and ice. I decicide to try another brand so I don't have to pay to return and be with no cover for a month. I dont have a garage and I dont leave my Corvette uncovered.

Feb 19,2025I purchased the Gold Shield indoor/outdoor cover in August 2022. i spent $150 on it because of the "lifetime" warranty. after a year and a half, it was destroyed from the elements. I requested a replacement, and they offered one, but required me to pay another $45 to ship a replacement... so much for a lifetime warranty. I got the second one in May 2024. It is now Feb 2025 and the replacement is falling apart. the seams are ripping, the outer coating is flaking off. They offered to send me another replacement for $20 this time. I will not be giving them another dollar unless they make it right. I am already $200 into a car cover that doesn't even last a year. Don't waste your money, buy from someone else. Oh, their website doesn't allow reviews this far after purchase, so that is why they claim to have such great reviews... 0 stars.

Feb 16,2025The cover fits very well but it leaves a misty stain discolor on the paint coating after significant rains. I spoke with the representative (Shawn) about this and he recommended purchasing another cover at a discounted price. I did that and got the same result as the first cover. I sent photos illustrating the stains but they said it was a coating issue, this is not the case, my paint coating was fine until I used the car cover. I am not sure what’s causing this but if your car is parked outside your home, pay attention to the vehicles paint coating when you remove the cover after a heavy rainfall. Car cover did refund me for the first cover but that’s not resolving the issue. It was indicated to me that car cover is not liable for damages that may be caused by the cover per the manufacturer terms and conditions.

Jan 16,2025Purchased a “Gold Shield 5L” with a “Lifetime Warranty”…… LMFAO. What a joke. It fit my vehicle and lasted 14 months before deteriorating literally to ash/dust. They offered a replacement under warranty for 50% of what I originally paid. Do not spend your money, look at true reviews on Amazon and make an informed purchase for less then these guys charge.

They were very helpful received a free replacement cover within 3 days of submission of concerns. Personally where pleasant professional an prompt and courteous replacement cover fit perfect did not need to return original
