We would particularly like to say how fantastic Jazz, the Sales Advisor has been throughout the whole process. She has been extremely efficient, always replying to any questions without delay, and in such a warm and friendly manner. Nothing has been too much trouble. In fact she has done her utmost to help, to which we are very grateful. We have also met some of the site staff who were also extremely helpful. This review concerns Cavanna Homes Equinox 2 site at Tithebarn, Exeter, and in particular, the two sales staff members Jazz and Vicky. My son bought a house on the site, completing the sale in late October 2024. Both Jazz and Vicky were on hand throughout the negotiations and the following few weeks. During that time, I couldn't have met sales staff so committed to ensuring everything possible should be done for their clients. They were both warm and friendly, knowledgeable about their site, and professional at all times where nothing seemed to be too much trouble when I had to contact them. After a while, I felt they approached me, one of their clients, as if I were family, as they were so friendly. It was a real pleasure to speak with them when it became necessary. Unlike many other 'support staff' we encounter today who you can sense are just going through the motions. I never felt this with Jazz and Vicky. They always sounded honest and sincere in discussions with me, and enjoying their job. How many of us can say that? Thank you ladies.
The experience was fantastic from start to finish; from the first viewings with Kelly, the final viewings and hand over with Vicki and the new owners house tour with Willie the builder, and then the unexpected check in from Tim in customer service. It really felt like there was care in every interaction. PS The house is absolutely fantastic, immaculate in every way!
Cavanna were fantastic and made the whole process easy. They worked with us even whilst we were having difficulties selling my property. A great experience which we would recommend.

Seems lack of insulation and a failure too Pete the necessary inspections before completion is a theme. My2 year old home also requires more insulation..missed by the builders ….and inspectors. But, dates promising to apply said insulation have come and passed ..the first in July. Now we await scaffolders who seem equally elusive and unprofessional. Cavannah…a huge disappointment .
If I could give less stars I would ! Where do I even start .... From their workmen and 'professionals' telling me I didn't know how to work my heating which resulted in a 7 yr long battle... Firstly having a new radiator fitted because cavanna 'forgot' to take into account the full space. Followed by insulation being pumped into my house because there were whole ceilings and void spaces between my kitchen,garage and hallway which was causing the cold in my house NOT from me knowing when to put my heating on and off as they kept trying to tell me... Not even an apology for this after fighting for so long. In amongst all of this my kitchen pipe along with everyone else in the street had burst pipes and broken taps one Christmas because of the lack of insulation issue. Again no apology and took forever. I've now got an issue where the fascias are loose... I've had my home insurance provider send out an individual who has deemed this to be a builder issue. Not enough screws etc. Cavanna response ' I should have looked up sooner!!'. It's a 3 storey house and I am not a builder therefore wouldnt have known what regulations were needed for fitting fascias! This Is so poor...!!! AVOID!! AVOID!!! AVOID!! It has been one battle after another... Belittling company who think they can fob people off with 'your cold because your heating isn't on'... Took lots from NHBC to eventually get sorted. However they refuse to accept the fascias should have been secured better. Despite smaller 2 storey houses on the estate having much more secure fittings! I have nothing in front of my house for miles to brace the house from the elements. Something they have repeatedly not factored in with this house / the whole street. Not worth the hassle.... No after care because they really do not care once they have your money !! (Ps set as today's date as there are too many dates to pick from !) **In response to cavanna reply*** completely disregards the belittling and treatment over the years... Hides behind 'outside the 2 yrs' but doesn't address the fact of 'i should have looked up sooner to see that the fascias weren't fit to regulations'. Doesn't address that for 7 years I battled with how cold my house was... Paying extra in heating to heat an area that had been completely missed when they insulated... as well as everything else I've had to battle... I should be grateful that they eventually fixed the 'cold' problem. That's not to mention the mice we encountered in the early days as the site office was beside my house... Wasn't due to their builders at all... But bins were delivered within the hour ! Or their builders using the most obscene language before 7am in the morning outside our windows at the top of their lungs. But it's ok all that can be forgotten because I should have 'looked up sooner' and KNOWN builder regulations for every aspect of my house 🙄
Cavanna Homes were great! My partner and I brought our first house, a new build, with them, and they couldn't have been more helpful. All questions we asked were answered quickly and in a way we could understand, they were willing to help us with any issues we had during the moving process, including having to move our date forward to help accommodate us, and all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Big shout out to Kelly, who started our buying process, Jazz, who helped us with the moving in dates and details, and Vicky, who has been fantastic in helping us with all our queries post move. Overall they have made our first house buying experience a breeze.
7 years we have lived here. The first phase is still not completed despite numerous promises to finalise the remedial works. It’s just excuse after excuse from Customer Services and no one from the senior management team will take responsibility or speak to us..What are they frightened of? This company has let us down time and time again and I would urge you to think very seriously about parting with your hard earned cash and buying a Cavannna house. 😡
I have just moved to a cavanna home. What a great build house and the service from kelly made it all happen she was always on the end of the phone if I had any problems, Kelly has good customer service and she is friendly and supportive. Everyone on this site has been helpful and nothing has been too much trouble they are all a great team of people. Thank You Cavanna Homes
The sales team have been fantastic, particularly Teresa. Always happy to help and support. Although the above remains the same, We've held off on commenting about customer services, this was to give them a chance to resolve a big issue we have had to endure since moving in. We reported our garden was getting waterlogged in September 2023, after being told it was not their issue but a neighbourly problem during lots of mail conversations (copying the MD), Cavanna finally admitted an issue with the drainage in April 2024. Although we have been told it will be resolved, 2 months on, we are still waiting. During this wait, we have not been able to fully use our garden, nor carry out the improvements we want to make. We are deeply disappointed with with the lack of service from their customer service team. We feel we have had to fight for them to accept responsibility.
It can be pretty daunting working through all of the stages of viewing, reserving and specifying options for a new house purchase! Our experience using the Bude Bellevue sales office has been outstanding and very supportive, big thanks to Jaz and Theresa for their expert advice and friendly approach. They have been very sensitive to our needs, answered all of our many questions thoroughly and professionally whilst at the same time being open and friendly. They had answers to all of our technical enquiries and advised on our choices of kitchen options and tiles for the bathrooms. I would throughly recommend using the Bude Sales Office and have every confidence that you will receive the same level of service. Thank you for making our buying experience enjoyable!
Friendly and professional service. I would 100% recommend anyone to Cavanna particularly the Bellevue site in Bude. Teresa and Jazz have been incredible, they have gone the extra mile to find our perfect home and at each stage have kept us up to date and helped us on the process. Not only are they professional, but they are personable too and it has made our move that much more special. We cannot wait to move into our new home!
From the moment we stepped into the showroom offices we were treated very well by the Cavanna staff - no question was a silly question and the staff were super helpful without being pushy. Thanks for making the process a smooth one
We're a few months into our new home at Market Place. The house is very well finished and beautifully presented. So far so good. Like any new home there were some snags to take care of, and a couple of things have come up while we're living in the house. Cavanna fixed most of the initial snags we reported very quickly indeed, and they are steadily working through the remainder. We're also finding Cavanna customer services team to be pretty responsive, and their sales team was wonderful. So I've given them 5 stars: it's a lovely solid feeling house, in a fantastic location.
Teresa at Cavanna Bellvue has been very helpful and informative during our visit to Bude, with an excellent customer service. This has made buying our new home in Bude much easier. We would also like to mention Jazz a great help in the beginning of the process when we reserved our plot in Bude. We are now looking forward to moving in the coming months.
Brilliant service all the way through. The purchase experience was totally stress free thanks to Teresa and the site team. They provided regular updates and time frames throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. Move in day was a breeze with help and support on hand if needed. A very positive experience with additional follow up calls received from the customer care team at head office to ensure everything was ok.
Recently reserved our plot on the Bellevue site. We have been very pleased with all the staff we have come into contact with so far. They are friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble.

Feb 09,2025The customer service has exceeded our expectations. We were very anxious and heard many horror stories about buying new build homes. Also we had an added complexity of needing to sell our existing home and our buyer pulled out after we reserved our plot with Cavanna. The developer was laid back and flexible about our exchange of contracts and allowed us time to secure another buyer. The build quality is very good. Snagging was minor and the site manager is very responsive. We would highly recommend Cavanna Homes to family and friends.
