Nov 24,2021the product looks great but is made really cheaply within 2 days of getting the product, the mag pad for charging the iphone broke off from its mount why i was removing the phone ......and i was being gentle it turns out the round charging pad has only 2 very small thin pins holding it to the chrome bar and both these have broken far too easily cannot believe someone design this with this sort of connection between the 2 pieces knowing the twist-action you need to use to remove the phone off the magnetic grip real shame

Nov 03,2021The device is really good, and does feel quality for the price. It also looks very premium. A few things.. It's self assembly, requires a couple of screws in the bottom to put the charging arm into place (screws, screw covers, with a spare, and screwdriver supplied), which is very easy to do. I was expecting one cable in to plug in to the base (which is technically correct). The watch charger is just a normal apple charger with a shorter cable which you actually have to plug into the back of the base on the USB-A plug. The cable supplied is a USB-A to USB-C (USB-C into the base), but you need to use the cable. I've tried a USB-C to USB-C cable that came with my phone but the base didn't accept it. The unit does charge the items well, but it can be sometimes hard to place the AirPods case in the correct place. The magnets are strong on the phone charger, and holds my 13 Pro Max in place well, but the weight of the phone does make the unit tilt over slightly. Would be nice if there was some more counter weight for the weight of the phone. The light built into the base is handy, and sufficiently bright for night use, but when I was charging my phone, the light was flickering slightly.
