Dec 18,2024An excellent job from start to finish. We decided to have the premium shutters which have transformed our home. We did have a quote from another local shutter install company and they were a lot more expensive. The lead times for the premium shutters are much shorter, 4 to 6 weeks, and they are 🇬🇧 made (others made in china and 10 to 12 weeks delivery.) We have used Charles Faraday twice this year and we’re saving to see them for more next year. They are very sturdy, good quality fit and a good quality shutter. Thanks Andrew and Callum for a nice job. We’re very pleased and would recommend.😊

Dec 16,2024First class service from initial quote through to ordering and keeping us updated on delivery, through to fitting and after-care. We are so pleased with our living room wooden shutters. The shutters are really high quality and the installation was brilliant. Through my own fault, I damaged some of the sealant and they even came out the very next day and sorted with no charge. Honestly if you’re looking at having shutters fitted, I can’t recommend Charles Faraday enough! Thanks again, and we’ll be using you guys for when we have our bedrooms ones done :)

From the first call to measure and give an estimate, through to installation and after-sales follow-up, the service has been great. We are very satisfied with the shutters which look good and have been fitted with care and attention to detail. They are of high quality and work well; furthermore, we have already noticed an improvement in insulation.

Oct 24,2024I was not pressured at all into buying the plantation shutters. Andrew came out to measure up and was courteous at all times and respected my home interior. All my questions were answered honestly and I was informed every step of the way. The fitting was swift and everything was cleaned up and tidied promptly. I can’t stop looking at my beautiful new shutters and I’ll have upstairs done as soon as I can!

Oct 17,2024I was a returning customer after having shutters installed in my bathroom. They had been so good at either keeping the heat in when cold outside, and keeping the heat out when experiencing a hot spell of weather. I was so pleased with the shutters, as well as the service, that I returned and have now had 2 further rooms fitted with shutters. The quality appears to be very good. The fitter was very good and professional. All-in-all, the whole process from initial consultation to now having the shutters in place has been very smooth and I am very happy with the result.

Jul 31,2024Met Andrew on the first visit, no hard sell. Was very prompt with issuing quotation. Everything was explained even the lengthy lead time as I chose the cafe style shutters in white. Fitter was brilliant, clean work and perfectly fitted One very happy customer.

The end result has totally enhanced are living environment with very positive comments from our neighbours. Could easily give a sixth star there was one.

Jul 03,2024Lovely little company. Andrew is a proper gent. He guided us through the whole process of ordering built in wardrobes with matching furniture. He confirmed the order and gave us a chance to amend the order and then set a date. All done without any fuss. I totally recommend Charles Faraday based on the whole customer experience based on dealing with Andrew and the quality and price of the whole job.

Mar 12,2024I had my blinds fitted over a year ago now and was very pleased with them. However, when I was in another room the other day heard a crash in the kitchen and the whole blind had been fallen down breaking ornaments on my windowsill. His reply- Thank you for the images. This blind is not in warranty. It's a pity you did not stay in today as agreed I had moved things around to accomodate you. I can pop in Wednesday afternoon to have a closer look arriving between 12-3 Can you please confirm you will be in? I found this quite a rude reply, Andrew had told me it would be in the afternoon when he called round, at 12 o’clock, I was on my way home to get changed as I had had a phone call to say my friend has been rushed to hospital, as I was driving, I had a phone call from Faraday blinds, I said I was on my way home and was he in Shrewsbury he said no, and I said I’m sorry I’m not going to be in I have got to go out again so he said could you send me some photographs., which I did.

Jan 18,2024We had a fitted wardrobe built in our master bedroom. Everything we requested was provided and we were given the best quote out of a number of competitors. Service was quick and caused no disruption as it was carried out while we were at work. A great service and we will definitely have more built soon! They even squeezed us in before Christmas which was great.

Quality is excellent and more competitively priced than we had anticipated. The installation process was very straightforward from our point of view and the fitter was extremely professional.
