The Morgan Pups
Mar 19,2024I love this food concept and was excited to support a smaller pet food manufacturer. I gave it a try with my three French Bulldogs. Almost every package had some issue relating to torn packaging, etc. I reached out to the company, and they told me to go ahead and feed the food even though the packaging was torn. Two of my three pups got diarrhea after eating the food in the torn package. Last week, I opened another package of food and found a large piece of black plastic in it. This is a choking hazard and should not happen if the food is manufactured in a USDA human food manufacturing plant. I contacted the company 3 times to report this incident, and they still have not replied. I am very disappointed with Chi Dog.

Mar 05,2024My 16 year old sheltie is in early kidney failure and stopped eating his prescribed kidney diet and his dry dog food and was dropping weight in a swift amount of time. My vet got the point of just saying for him to eat chicken and rice everything with some add ins to balance his food. I decided to try chi dog for the kidney support, just to see if it would help, and he loves it! I see more pep in his step and I can tell he is putting back on some weight!

Mar 04,2024I love that they call you when you have questions and talk you through it. I love that they check back with you to see how things are going and I love the actual food itself. I love that day really do care about my dogs and that they’re healthy and that seems to be number one. They will even offer other suggestions besides their food to help my dogs and that says a lot.!

She has been able to offer suggestions that have helped my two little ones who have been very ill. I am truly grateful for her support and guidance. Feb 16,2024My dog loved the food, but I don’t like the packaging. I prefer a portion that is ideal for 2 meals and all I have to do is cut it in half. The portion is based on my dog’s activity level, age, weight etc. He is not a picky eater but I like 4-5 different options for him.

Feb 15,2024It’s quality and makes energetics easier/accessible. I don’t love that carbs aren’t optional though I understand millet is gluten free. I also don’t like that size is 13.8 oz instead of 16 oz. I wish more information was on the website in terms of sourcing and explaining what chelated vitamins/minerals are. That said the vet actually responds and offers 15 minutes time slots for questions, which is amazing and unique. It’s worth a try if you’re curious. I just can’t tell if it’s right for my dog as I am still figuring out what proteins she is sensitive to.

Feb 14,2024My dog didn’t tolerate the food even with a slow transition (diarrhea resolved after stopping Chi Dog). For $100 I was supposed to get 2 weeks of food, but it was nowhere near his caloric needs for two weeks. One of the emails I received requested feedback on how my dog was doing on Chi Dog. I replied to the message and never received a response. All the brochures and instructions are full of typos. They need a proof reader to help with credibility.

Feb 09,2024Several times I have had questions and called Chi. Each time I spoke with a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable person and received a perfect answer. So important. One of my pups is feet picky and habitually can onto days without eating. NOTBANY MORE. He is by my side every meal waiting for his food.

Feb 08,2024I received only part of my order, with no updates provided. Additionally, the missing portion wasn't delivered until I reached out about the issue. This was particularly concerning as I was only trying the trial package to see if the food suited my sensitive dog. The delayed and incomplete trial delivery raises doubts about what to expect if I were to sign up for a subscription
