The experience of getting the loan was fairly simple and straight forward. We had some problems right at closing with extra hoops to jump through because we had to get a gap loan and couldn't send money from that, it all had to be from my account so there were wires being sent to and from everywhere and that was a really stressful day. Also I really don't like the Rehab Draw thing - you took the money I was going to use for the rehab so you could give it back to me later... Except now I'm short money and don't have enough for the rehab... I would've preferred to just keep my funds in my account and not have to worry about the extra gap loan, not to mention the extra costs, paperwork and hassle just to get my cash back. Then I got several calls that seemed like scam/phishing calls from a "debt collector". It was the company that services your loans. I've never heard of a loan service company contacting the customer directly, let alone by phone, so that was really weird.

The folks at Civic Financial are amazing. We had two loan applications that were processed by them surprisingly fast, and the entire process was seamless and professional. We then applied for a third loan, and are already approved in a matter of days. Yes, we would recommend Civic Financial Services to others as well. Our contact person there was a gentleman by the name of Ryder Byrne.

I enjoy working with Civic, mainly because of Jack Robinson, my Account Rep. He always goes above and beyond to make a deal work and see through closing. He is available to me, any time I need him, even when he is on vacation. I find Civic's process easy, and the more deals I do with them, the easier the process. I would highly recommend Civic Financial.

Our experience with Marshall Jones was excellent. This is our 2nd transaction with him and both experiences were outstanding. I felt very comfortable using Civic Financial as a hard money lender. There were no hidden costs and everything was kept up front. Rance Brown was an excellent account representative and was always available to answer questions. I would not hesitate using them again.
