Feb 27,2022My case took just under 2 years to settle but this was more due to covid restrictions delaying appointments with consultants etc. My case was handled well by both Shuma Mannan initially and then Andy Davidson and I was kept informed and updated throughout. I felt that they cared about my case and Andy worked hard to get me the best outcome. The settlement figure ended up being more than was estimated so was very happy with that. Would recommend clear law.

Feb 23,2022My claim was passed to Clear law after Pure Legal went into administration in November 2021. I had accepted an offer where it was split to reduce my outstanding debt with the defendant and the rest being paid to me. I had a phone call from Clear law the day the case was transferred and was told that I will get the majority of the amount that was offered to me. I asked what proportion a few times and was told a majority. Well since November 21, I rang Clear Law 7 times and each time was told someone will call me back. They called once in December 21 and I was told they are waiting for the case to be settled and will be in touch for my bank details. I never heard from them again. I was advised by the defendant that my account was credited for the amount of the claim I agreed on the 18.01.2022. I was suprised as Clear Law hasn't been in contact with me. So, I rang a few times and was told they can't access my file but will let someone call me back. After a few more calls from myself the last one on the 17.02.22 I was told someone will call. I received a call at 8.19pm on the 17.02.2022 but no one answered. I guess they count that as a call back. Anyways, to my surprise I received some documents from Clear Law and Clear Commercial on the 21.02.2022 with a set of documents for me to sign as now they want me to use them to sue Pure Legal Insurance for giving me bad advise. No mention of the £3000 that should have been sent to me from the defendant. I call today 23.02.2022 and after waiting for 20mins finally got to speak to someone who explained the same crap as the letter but couldn't and didn't know if they had my payment of £3000. But then he went on to say that all the £3000 was paid to the insurance that Pure legal took out to cover the loan from Novitas for their work. When I asked if the insurance is fully paid now he went quiet. The call was still running but no answer from him. I waited 10mins still no answer. The call got cut off and no one has called back. I guess he is trying to come up with some explanation. I hate to think what it will cost me to get these cowboys to deal with yet another claim if I can't even get an update now. Clear law all I need to know was if and when you had the payment from the defendant and a breakdown of where the money has gone. Its really a simple question so why don't you let me know in writing as you did when you sent your documents in the post. Look forward to any comments. Got an email from clear law to email them and someone will contact me. I was suprised to get a call the next day from Tom Giles who explained what had happened with my claim. As promised he sent me an email confirming the coversation we had. In the email he confirmed that £3000 was sent to them and has been used to pay off my insurance for the Novitas loan that Pure legal had taken out in my name in case of a no win situation. Also Tom confirmed that the defendant had agreed to pay my cost as well so the loan of £20000 plus with Novitas for Pure Legal cost will be paid to Novitas and I am not liable for any further costs from Novitas. This is what I wanted in writing since no one from Clear Law has been in touch for a few months. I decided not to allow Clear Law to sue Pure Law for my £3000 as they cannot give me a cost on that. I am happy that this whole saga has come to an end. The people who has made the most money out of this, is Pure Law. Once again thank you Tom Giles for your call and email..

Feb 17,2022Great service and always clear and concise. Always easy to get hold of when needed. I’ve only dropped the score as I felt with mercury legal before the change over so I didn’t work with clear law that long but still really helpful and got the job done!

Jan 22,2022Although Clear Law was not my first choice, it definitely should have been, and if I ever need a law firm again, I would choose Clear Law without missing a heartbeat. My personal injury claim was transferred from DBS Law in Birmingham, who subsequently went bust. Mr John Rimmer took my case, and I am so happy he did. In the two years with the previous law firm, I was thrown from one solicitor or claim handler to another, on at least 4 occasions...they also failed to answer my questions on many occasions. But John Rimmer from Clear Law spoke to me on all occasions and emailed replies within one day every time. On some occasions, he even replied straight away. He was always available at the end of the phone line...and always had the answers to all my questions and his experience in my particular injury spans to over 10 years. He is friendly, down-to-earth, and honest with all the work he does. I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart for showing me respect and sympathy and bringing my case to a successful closure in a very short time. I would recommend Clear Law and especially Mr John Rimmer, any time of the day, eyes closed. As the name suggests, Clear Law..."Clearly" is the best law company in the UK. After more than two years, they still had not progressed my case despite my providing a mountain of information, filling in interminable forms and making many phone calls. Jan 12,2022Cannot recommend Peter from Clear Law solicitors enough. He helped my partner due to a motorcycle accident caused by another driver. He always communicated well and kept us in the loop about everything and anything. The littlest information he always updated us and helped out in any way he could every step of the way. If I needed help with anything like this again I would definitely come back to Peter. He was brilliant!
