Jan 25,2023I am so grateful to Cornerstone Tax Advisers, in particular Arshana Anuraj. I needed advice on stamp duty payable on an additional property I am purchasing. My accountant did not have the expertise to help me. I spoke to Arshana albeit I am not a client of Cornerstone. I explained the situation; she took her time, listened and explained to me the best course of action to take. I was amazed when she did not charge for her advice. Jan 16,2023Reached out to Cornerstone tax to ask about recent stamp duty I'd had to pay, and a potential refund due to a recent separate court ruling. Cornerstone advised there was a different rule that meant I would be eligible for a refund, proceeded to apply for it from HMRC, and organise it all for me. Thank you Cornerstone!

Dec 22,2022Kishan helped us with a very complex Stamp Duty query. Prior to approaching Cornerstone, I had enlisted the services of another Tax Consultant, who claimed to be an expert in Stamp Duty matters but gave up midway and said that I had no choice but to pay the higher Stamp Duty as imposed by HMRC. Kishan took over my case with the support of Patrick and they both supported me to prepare my case and took it to tribunal and not only did I not have to pay the higher rate Stamp Duty (which would have costed me another £50K excluding interest) - Kishan also managed to secure a refund of almost £30K for me!!!

They are quick and efficient in establishing whether or not they will be successful in making a claim, they are definitely the 'go to'. I have now had 2 successful claims on property purchases.
