Their employees have in-depth knowledge in STLD by walkthrough the rationale and justification with me before proceeding the claim with HMRC. With their responsive reply and professional advice, I am confidence to appoint Cornerstone to work on my case. The most important is, I can get the overpaid SDLT refund from HMRC.

Jun 06,2022I asked for some advice about a potential future reclaim of tax as I was unsure on a few things having received some complicated responses from other firms. Mr Sam Warrens of CTATAX.UK was not only swift to respond, but he made things really clear for me. Not only that but his advise was such that he demonstrated how I could make the claim my self, without having to employ a firm to do so (including his own firm). I am truly thankful for this type of help. In this day and age of rising prices, lockdowns and the like, Mr Warrens help and willingness share his knowledge really was invaluable. He could have (like other firms) asked me to sign up as a client, but instead he was very willing to share his knowlesdge to help me make the claim myself for when the time comes. If ever the time comes where I need an advisor on such matters as a paid client, I am sure I will head to Cornerstone Tax Advisers first.

Specifically whether I would have to pay SDLT on an small area of land that I wanted to buy to add to the garden of a bungalow that I had offered on. Aamirah was very helpful and came back to me with all the advice that I needed in a couple of days.

Their advice saved me a fortune in Stamp Duty, which my solicitor was trying to tell me I had to pay! Their charges were less than a quarter of what a rival company wanted for the same advice.
