May 28,2021I would definitely recommend Cornerstone Tax to others in need of specific advice in the complex area of SDLT. Nita Patel provided excellent support when I engaged Cornerstone to advise on the applicability of the non-resident surcharge on my property transaction. She made herself available to discuss and understand the transaction over a number of phone calls and the official letter of advice at the end was clear and concise, allowing me to file the SDLT1 return with confidence.

May 28,2021As we neared exchange of contracts for our house purchase, our conveyancer required us to obtain last minute- expert advise with regards to Stamp duty. We spoke to Nita Patel @ Cornerstone who very quickly assessed and understood our needs and was able to provide expert advise and a written report at very short notice. Mar 16,2021I worked with Cornerstone tax advisors to secure an SDLT refund on a property purchase I completed on in February 2020. Today March 16th I was notified that my claim had been successful and that I would receive a substantial refund. I cannot recommend highly enough Cornerstone services and especially Tommy Berdej who led the claim of refund on my behalf.
