Places an order weeks ago and have had no response. No one there to answer the phone and no response to multiple emails... Where my stuff or an update or refund?
I would honestly say, given the past 3 weeks trying to get hold of them for a refund, that I have experienced worse customer service. Not one phone call, not one email, not one tweet answered. Had to resort to legal means to get the refund, which was as alarming quick as alarming non extant in their initial response. I'd say Caveat Emptor but that wouldn't be enough; avoid like the plague.
DO NOT under any circumstances order anything from these thieves!!! they will take your order and money and not send you the goods! they are frauds! my partner has been waiting god knows how long for an order to arrive, she's been receiving emails from a customer service person called lynne, who it seems is a compulsive f@#*¥%g liar! she sells you your order is on the way time and time again when it actually isn't! DO NOT GET CONNED BY THESE THIEVING SUMBAGS! trading standards will be contacted asap!

Bought a Garmin 25 cycle computer for my husband's birthday. When he opened his present, there was nothing inside it. I have bought a £75 empty box. Phones are not being answered in the current climate but neither are my emails. Seems they are quick enough to take your money and orders but not to answer an email.
My bike has finally arrived after numerous emails and phone calls on hold ,it arrived !! Ordered on 11/4 i had lost hope and was taking steps to try and cancel and get my money back,then last night it turned up .For those of you waiting ,it will arrive ,all beit a lot later than they said
I have to say I ordered myself a bike from here without reading the reviews. After I did I was rather worried about my order and wasn't sure I would receive it. However I have to say they where amazing. Email arrived when I ordered It confirming everything. I then got told I would receive it within 10/14 working days which I thought was amazing due to the situation going on at the moment however reading everyone else's I thought I was out of luck and I wouldn't receive it or if i did it would be poor quality. I was so very wrong. I received an email yesterday morning saying my bike had been dispatched and guess what it arrived this morning. It looks great and has been assembled really well. It is not poor quality and delivery was quick arriving well before the 14 day period. So overall I have received an amazing bike and amazing customer service. I will be happy to order from here again and have to say I'm glad I didn't cancel it after reading other people's reviews as I was very close to doing so! So dont let other peoples reviews put you off. I can not fault them what so ever. One very happy customer!
Ordered bike 13 working days ago, confirmation stated 10 days delivery. Completely understand in the current climate that it might be a few days late, however with telephone numbers removed from website, shops closed and no response to emails, not to mention Halfords trying to offload them, time to find another retailer. Ringing the bank to raise a chargeback and buying elsewhere, suggest others do the same. Good luck to shopfloor workers, not a company I would want to work for or do business with in future (if it lasts). UPDATE - moved from 1 star to 3 Halfords seem to jump on this last week, good communicaiton and a promise of 10% refund. Bike was delivered this week. I'll put it down to being overwhelmed by the current situation.
Still no bike or email of dispatch. I ordered over two weeks ago. You cannot contact them, all numbers for Cycle Republic or Halfords are ‘closed’. Emails don’t get responded to. Don’t buy from here. I can’t imagine why bikes in Boardman’s class are using this outlet! Puts me off the brand
Yet another kick in the teeth. Received my bike out of the blue yesterday after waiting 24 days. No email of dispatch etc. Only to discover they have sent the wrong frame size. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE JOKERS.
I would strongly advise against ordering from this company. I had to send some clothing back, I have proof of returns from DPD and still no refund. Returned goods on 18th March, emailed, tried to call and no response. I understand it is a busy time but they're not even attempting to respond to emails sent over a month ago!
I placed an order on Tuesday the 28th for a Carrera crossfire 3. I received the bike 6 days later on Monday the 4th. After reading so many bad reviews I was anxious I would not receive the order. Like many of you I tried to contact cycle republic via phone,email,Facebook and Twitter, I also had no response. I sent a messaged to Halfords direct who assured me that my order is not waiting to be picked, built and dispatched by the team and will be fulfilled. On Friday I received a dispatch email from cycle republic with a working tracking number. The bike could have been packaged better however the bike had no damage and I am pleased with my order. Carrera bikes are sold exclusively through Halfords so it may have just came straight from them or I may have just got lucky. On my experience I would recommend them however the lack of communication concerns me. They need to keep their customers in the loop of what’s going on with the orders. I hope you all receive your orders or refunds ASAP! 🤞
Was concerned after reading the other reviews. Ordered my bike on the 24th and it arrived today. No issues, just needed the brakes adjusting a bit. It was a Carrera bike which is sold exclusively by Halfords so wondering if it came straight from Halfords as the text message and assembly sheet had the Halfords name on it rather than CR. Knocked a star off as tried to get through and email cycle republic to no avail.

Was very worried reading reviews after ordering but how wrong could i be. Ordered 26th April and received bike today 4th was kept up to date during the process and happy with the bike. Can only go on my experience and maybe i was just lucky but pleased with the service i received.
Saying there still taking orders but no way of getting hold of them. Trues phoning them. Emailing, Facebook and even tried helfords. Do no use this s**t company
They just don't bother getting back to you. My bike arrived damaged and they haven't even replied to me. They clearly do not have enough support staff. Fair enough this period is more busy than usual, but I'm sure more people could use work so I don't see why they haven't recruited more.
I placed an order on 14th April. I have emailed Cycle Republic every day with no reply after seeing terrible reviews. I believe they are owned by Halfords but Halfords are selling them. I am so worried now, I have spent alot of money, no answer from the phone, no response at all. Maybe need to go to the media next because this is getting ridiculous, if they are taking money off customers from orders but not delivering goods then this is fraud.
Ordered a bike and accessories on the 10th of April through the cycle to work scheme, got the accessories in a couple of days, got a email on the 16th saying the bike I ordered was out of stock can I choose another, which I managed with a bit of difficulty as I was on a limited budget due to the way I had purchased the bike, I was told it would be delivered within 10 working days, today is the 3rd May and still no bike, you can't call them as the telephone number has been switched off, and when you do eventually get a reply to your email all they say is they are working through the back log of orders as quickly as they can, they can't give you a actual update on your order for some reason, this company is a joke if they can't handle the orders don't take them, I will not be recommending them to anyone. Got through to Halfords yesterday who have told me that my order has been cancelled for some reason, finally got a reply back from Cycle Republic apologising giving me options on what to do next and guess what they are not replying to emails again. 😡 It's now the 13th May and I am still waiting for my bike over a month now.😡😡😡😡😡. Got in contact with them again 2 weeks after my THIRD!!!! bike had been ordered only to be told it was out of stock and they have nothing else to offer me and they were so sorry for me. I suggested they supply me with a electric scooter, which they did, it may not be a bike but it's a lot of fun and I got a £50 gift voucher as a way of apology, this company should be avoided at all costs if they survive I will never order from them again, I have never been treated so badly by a company. All this finally came to a close on the 23rd of May 6 weeks after I placed my order.😡

May 09,2020After reading reviews on here was worried that my bike wouldn't arrive but it did and in the time frame stated, ordered 22nd April, delivered 6th May. It was well packaged and ready to go. Love my new bike.
