Very simple application got my bike the very next day, I live in Leeds but had to drive to Barnsley for the bike we wanted the staff there went above and beyond to help us, also took the wheel off and put it in my car ! Great friendly knowledgable service.

Awkward process, badly made website that errored or failed at multiple points throughout the process over a couple of months. Used Evan’s cycles shopping online. Whole process feels like it’s not designed for online retail vs walking into a shop. No mention anywhere and Calculator didn’t factor that shipping cost had to be included in certificate value. (I didn’t expect it to be and was prepared to pay shipping separately) So I’ve got an £800 certificate together then had to reapply and wait 1mo+ to change cert value to account for £12 delivery fee with products going in and out of stock and on/off sale (changing their value) all the time. Telephone staff were lovely but quite useless to help with process, web issues, or provide information.

Ended up paying nearly £700 for a £600 bike and got no response from then questioning it. Would not touch again would of been cheaper and easier to get finance. Update 7th september 2024 Sent further details as requested and heard nothing back since again.

Using the Cyclescheme was super easy and I saved a fortune. The website was easy to navigate and it was quick to request by desired amount. They processed the application quickly and the instore process with my chosen supplier was seamless.

Excellent and friendly service from start to finish. Went into J E James Barnsley over 2 weeks ago to enquire about a bike - all the staff were very helpful and Adam was knowledgeable about the cycle scheme. Left a small deposit to hold the bike and went in yesterday to collect the bike and again, they were all helpful, made the bike adjustments for my son and took the front wheel off to load it into my car. Thank you.

The shop was fantastic and very helpful, however I found the software products sent by the cyclesceme quite confusing and really not user friendly. Such as on the email sent today, it asks for a signature and you cannot sign where it says 'SIGNATURE'

The website link and process was incredibly simple and easy to follow, I was able to order already discounted tyres, derailleur, helmet pads, and other parts. I ordered through Tredz,( there are many others) I would say have parts in a basket for the total cost, so this can form your cycle to work schedule total cost. You do have to enter each part and price on a link to the certificate online.
