Feb 03,2025It worked. Remember to get a saved quote from the bike shop as the size I chose was not available when I went back to purchase with the voucher. Had to buy alternative and make up price difference with accessories. Ok with alternative bike.

Looked to Cyclescheme to help (I am after all hiring a bike that is unusable), but in 2 months of chasing no one has come back to me. Raised a formal complaint and I can't even get this to be acknowledged. Cyclescheme were quick/good to setup a hire agreement, but thereafter clearly have no interest in their customers. I will be urging the company that I work for to switch provider.

I applied for a bike that was discounted, waited 40 days for them to finally let me activate the scheme just to realise the price of the bike went up and for the price I had Im unable to buy any bike. I called them to cancek it and they said its not possible because cooling period is 14 days 😂 now I being charged 30+ pounds every month for something I will never be able to use. Additionaly the process started on the 1st od december but the payment was taken on the 20th and it took them 17 days (sic!) to process the payment just to make sure u cant cancel it. Total scam, dont use this scheme.

Feb 05,2025The general scheme is obviously brilliant, giving you a huge discount. The combined difficulty is the time taken to get approval with the need to be 100% precise on the cost of what you are getting. So a sales price now may not apply by the time you get approval; and a hidden £5 delivery cost blocks the entire thing, even if you'd happily pay the £5 extra yourself, because the cost has to be precisely what you said and not a penny more or less. There should be an option to pay extras yourself. These may be more issues with the scheme than the company running it, it's hard to know. The company website worked well.
