Aug 23,2024The company updated me about a delay in delivery and offered to send out a repeat of the order if the products arrived defrosted. After 2 days they arrived partially defrosted and I felt happy to use them. I declined the offer of a replacement . I really appreciated this level of service and would recommend anybody to use this company with full confidence in their integrity. The venison was excellent despite the delay.

Aug 14,2024The ordering and delivery was quick & easy. Well packed and still very chilled on arrival so put it all straight in the freezer. The Italian sausages were spice more with an Indian flavour but we enjoyed them. The venison (fallow deer loin) was delicious. Only needs a few minutes to cook.

Aug 11,2024Upon making my order, I was contacted by Deer Box, who very kindly, wanted to ensure that I was comfortable with the fact that due to my remote location and the summer heat they couldn't guarantee everything remaining frozen- giving me clear guidance on what would fare the worse. This conversation was professional and very low pressure, making me feel like I could cancel my order should I wish. I decided to proceed with the ordered. It was dispatched on the day I specified, arriving still semi-frozen (good enough to immediately put in the freezer). Only one minor issue, upon reading my invoice, I noticed that an item I had order was out of stock, so was due a partial refund for that item. I hadn't been contacted about this, so I had to send an email- which was answered and resolved on that day. While it would have been a better experience for them to contact me about the refund, rather than the other way around. I think, that due to the extra paperwork, and the previously mentioned phone call, (all necessary for shipping to my remote location) more than make-up and provide a reason for this. Finally, while I am saving most of the meat for later. I can't get sausages at my location, thus have cracked them open. They are lovely, and exactly what I was needing- I'm looking forward to trying the rest of my order.
