Oct 24,2017I love Didriks, and will miss having it in the neighborhood. I do wish that there were a greater range of price points. I'm lucky enough to be able to afford nice things, and I love table top stuff in general, but I just won't spend $25 or $30 for a linen napkin, for example. And I think that more American-made goods with the same modern aesthetic would be preferable. I am not crazy about paying a steep price just because it necessarily includes tariffs and other big import fees. Also, it only seems fair to have a decent sale once in a while. Even your moving sale was not that great. I kept waiting for prices to go down further, but no luck! The staff is always helpful. I just don't think that I'll get over to Belmont very often, and that's a shame. And I'll miss Local Root as well, My knives need sharpening!

Oct 24,2017Website, including cart/checkout process, could be much more streamlined. Also, not sure why you get three emails for every order from different folks. May be an impact of serving other businesses but the direct to consumer experience could be improved.

Oct 16,2017This is a great place to find a home-related gift. I have shopped both Didriks and Local Root for practical, high quality kitchen items, serve-ware, beautiful glassware, tabletop items and floor mats. The attentive staff are knowledgeable, congenial, helpful but not intrusive. It is the opposite of the big impersonal chains and the merchandise is more interesting.
