Quick delivery of test kit, fast results
Test kit arrived on time. Posted in a priority box but it wasn't received 6 days later (incl w/end). EG sent a new kit quickly, but I got my original test result b4 I could do 2nd test. The certificate had the 2nd sample number instead of the original one, so the admin gives me cause for concern.
Great turn around time. We put the samples in the post box Monday at noon and received our email results Wednesday at 8:30am. The online tracker was out of date and did not show that the test kits had been dispatched, but everything else worked fine. Thank you!
The kits were sent swiftly to our accommodation in the UK. They were really easy to use and send back, and we got our results approximately 15 hours after they arrived at the lab for testing. All in all I would use EG again.
I purchased two Fit To Fly covid test packages from Everything Genetic Ltd at a total cost of £230. The completed tests were sent via a priority post box, in the Royal Mail 24hr envelopes provided, on a Monday for a flight we were taking on the evening of the following Thursday. In the FAQ section of their website it states that you should 'receive your results within 12-36 hours of your sample being received and scanned by the laboratory'. What is not made clear is that there is an arbitrary amount of time between a test arriving & being scanned at the laboratory and it being 'accepted' into the laboratory. In our case it was almost 24hrs hours between arriving at the lab and being checked into the lab. We eventually received our test results on the Friday morning, 12 hours after we'd flown and had to make other, very expensive, arrangements for covid tests. Despite sending our tests on the monday in the manner requested we did not receive results until the friday. Clearly this is not adequate for a Fit To Fly service. When you speak to someone at their call centre everyone is very friendly but they have no power to speed things up. All requests are met with a 'computer says no' response. The lab is a separate entity from Everything Genetic ltd which is merely an organisation for sending out plastic tubes in envelopes and then monitoring updates from the lab on their system. Everything Genetic have refused to refund or offer any compensation. If you need covid tests to fly use any other company unless you enjoy setting light to hundreds of pounds or causing yourself enormous stress at the airport.
Very impressed. Test received in the post well before the due date. Results received after 2 days. Will definitely use this company again.
Rapid antigen test instructions for return travel did not work. There was no phone or email support. Email request for refund has been met with blanc refusal and no attempt to address the issue, instead referring to 14 day refund policy rather then a service that was not fit for purpose. Latest email has not been replied to. Day 2 PCR worked well .Additional info for Everything genetic. See latest emails 4th October from Colleen Large. Update at 15/10/21 - Despite me responding to their request here for more information, Everything Genetic have not contacted me to resolve the issue of poor service.
We were put at ease straight away, excellent communications when I had a query and very fast in answering, which makes me totally confident in using this company again. A very good experience, especially helped with the fast communication.

Following a suggestion on the P&O ferries website, I purchased a pack of two tests from Everything genetic Ltd that had a Fit to Fly test and a Day 2 swab test. I did the fit to fly test on Monday 27th Sept and posted it by last collection on that day. I travelled to Hull to board a ferry on 29th Sept. Still no result, but fortunately P&O ferries had set up a Covid Testing centre in their reception area doing lateral flow tests. I paid for one of these so that I could travel. My fit to fly negative certificate finally arrived on my phone on 30th Sept .when I had been in The Netherlands for several hours. I am very disappointed with this. It is not fit for purpose. I did the day 2 test on Thursday 7th Oct, posted it in the same post box as the fit to fly test, and the result and had the result on Friday 8th Oct. This was a very quick result so why was the first one so slow? The pack of two tests cost £155 and the additional test at Hull £32, a huge amount of money on top of my fare. I am not planning another trip for a while but would certainly be looking for an alternative to Everything Genetic if I needed test kits.
Awful service. You sent my wife’s result to me and then when you eventually answered the phone after endless repetitive recorded messaging you said it was our fault for supplying only one email address.
Used EGL again and found the process easy, the kits looked very smart and arrived in a couple of days......would highly recommend. Results arrived very quickly
The company website is quite professional and the procedure relatively smooth. Receipt of the Day2 and Day8 material arrived well in time. Unfortunately, my only complaint is that the time taken from the self-administration (and taking into account the time taken to deposit the package into the designated Royal Mail post box and its receipt into the Everything Genetic laboratory) was well outside the 36 hour time frame mentioned in the website. Furthermore, upon receiving the PDF copy of the test result, extraordinarily enough it states that the sample date was 2021-10-02 which is totally incorrect since I was flying from the US on that day; in fact, the test was conducted on 2021-10-05 which was day 2 of the specified schedule. It is rather disconcerting to note this error allied with the uncertainty of not receiving the test result within 24 to 36 hours .
This was the first time we had had to do a PCR test after travel and I was pleasantly surprised that everything went so smoothly. We were kept well informed regarding the delivery of the test kit, and results were with us within 48 hours of us having put the swabs into the NHS priority postbox.
Sent test back on Wednesday result Friday very easy and fast .
If I could leave this comment without giving one star I would have. I have received test results certificate for one out of two PCR tests. I called and reported to customer service however issue was not resolved. I called again and had to leave message where I was promised a call back within 24 hours which never happened. Hopefully someone will read this and send the refund along with an apology. Update: Even after providing more information on company request after reading my review nobody has been in touch.
Twice I tried to book a day 2 covid pcr test for hcpc registered professionals and twice my order was cancelled on grounds of not recognising my hcpc registration number even though I had provided the correct hcpc registration number on both occasions, something very easy to look up. I contacted them the first time it was cancelled and they assured me it wouldn't happen again, I rebooked it only for them to cancel it again. A complete waste of time. I certainly would not trust them to handle sensitive data for other forms of testing after this experience.
I had to book these test last minute for my travel and I received great customer service. The representatives I talk to on the phone were very helpful and all my issues and questions were resolved quickly and appropriately. I received good service and I would highly recommend this company.

Oct 15,2021Very easy to order and both the LFT and the PCR (Day 2) test arrived quickly. Didn’t end up using the LFT as rules changed but the day 2 test was easy to use, had clear instructions and came back with our results quickly. Would definitely use this company again if I was travelling.
