Absolutely horrendous service. They Pitch you how easy, Simple and efficient their returns are... Unfortunately, most won't see these reviews as they have their Google reviews turned off and it will only be after a purchase they find out about their crappy warranty that doesn't exist! BTW, this was over a $69.99 part.
Absolute scam don’t purchase anything from this company. I just bought a purple mattress. After looking at their website and seeing it showcased every where on their end they cover accidental damage from pets, spills, rips, tears, punctures etc, I opted in and purchased the warranty. Well a few months later my toddler had an accident in the bed and we got a tear in the mattress and when I submitted the claim they denied it in the same day. “ Normal wear and tear” is their reasoning when the mattress is not even 12 months old and I explained what happened. I called and then they gave this response to my email. We've reviewed the details of your claim and determined that it is not covered under your Extend Protection Plan Terms and Conditions. “ Per your protection plan under "What is Not Covered" it states: 7.9. Stains, damage, or Failures caused by normal or ordinary wear-and-tear, the buildup of stains, soil, and/or damage or Failures that accumulate gradually over time from repeated use, rather than from a particular occurrence. This includes, but is not limited to, stains from perspiration, hair oil, or body oil. “ After I explained again what happened they responded by saying they have to follow their terms and conditions and my complaints fell on deaf ears and they sold me a bogus warranty that they fail to uphold. Look up Extend mattress product protection on their website so you know what they “advertise they cover, but do not”. You cannot link websites on trust pilot. I’ll leave you with a FALSE ADVERTISING snippet from THEIR WEBSITE. Accident-prone households If you’re living with children or pets, you know how easily they can create a mess — including damaging your mattresses. A few common mattress incidents include: Bathroom accidents Spilled water, juice, milk, or soda Burns from cigarettes, curling irons Punctures, cuts, tears, and rips Scam!
Tracking claims package has been out for delivery for the last 3 days and nothing as arrived no as the tracking been updated to delay or next attempt. its just been out for delivery for the last 3 days. I called to use this insurance that you pay for at checkout fo lost and damaged good and within 2 seconds they denied the claim. Your better off filing a claim with your Card directly instead of giving them $2. If a million people check out and they charge $2 each person they have made 4m for denying all cases leaving you with still fighting for your package and money.
Purchased a warranty via my mattress company for $90. Went to initiate my warranty (as my mattress is currently not usable). Extend is claiming to not have my warranty on file, even though I directly emailed them attachments verifying my warranty purchase from the mattress company itself. They’re forcing me to run in circles and at this point, have spent hours over the course of a week going back and forth between the 2 companies. Agreed that this is a total scam.
EDIT: After my review I received a call from Kelly in Extends claims department. She reviewed the information personally and was able to provide me with a very speedy solution. Very grateful for her time and efforts after my not so great experience with the previous people I was emailing with . We need more Kelly's in the world of customer service. Thank you! COMPLETE SCAM!!! Do not buy this protection plan, they basically rob you because they do not allow you to use the protection service you pay for. I got this for glasses and their was an accident during the holidays but they refuse to cover it even though there is accidental coverage in the plan. Paid well over $300 for coverage on multiple glasses that I can't even use.
THE WORST WARRANTY IVE EVER HAD. Its been about 2 weeks ive written 3 CLAIMS and no reply. I got a grille for my car as a christmas gift and as soon as i remove the grille i see it has a crack and is damaged. I then proceed to write claims and wait for a reply but i never got anything i also have 1 year warranty in the product. My brother then calls cuz he has the information in the product and they proceed to have us wait for another call back i still havent gotten the item back and have never had such a hassle dealing with warranty this is ridiculous. I DO NOT RECOMEND PAYING EXTRA FOR THIS COMPANY. UPDATE: i was given $650 to buy a new grille which is ridiculous because the item came out to around $730 with warranty. Even if i bought the item alone id still have to pay more for taxes. This is ridiculous considering i was given a damaged item and now i have to pay extra for something that wasnt my fault. Now im just waiting for it to arrive hopefully it isnt damaged again. UPDATE 2 The second grille did come in damaged but i found a way to work around it because i didnt want to deal with the warranty and waiting anymore.
PUT IN BOLD that you require customers to jump through hoops to use the plans they buy! Just say that and people will STOP using your services. I am actually going to see about consumer rights and perhaps (most likely) sue you guys for deceptive advertising. People buy extended warranties for peace of mind, not for five million questions and B.S.
Extend proved to deliver exceptional service after an initial delay of my claim. Although the claims process took some time, it was handled professionally. In particular, Kelly went above and beyond to resolve my claim and make my situation right. She was very accommodating and provided clear guidance. I recommend using Extend to protect your purchases.
Ok so I wrote a poor review which was read by a young lady at Extend. She immediately contacted me, apologized for people being rude..and corrected everything on the spot. If the company is anything near to her professionalism and kind manner, I would definitely use them again. I'm not sure she would like me to use her name, but thank you K .
I made an order with jomashop on 11/19/24 and purchased the extend protection plan. the items got marked as delivered on 11/21/24 but I had never received the package. I initiated a claim with extend which got denied automatically. I decided to call in and ask why the denial. they told me that I filed the claim too early and you're supposed to file a claim after 5 days upon package marked as delivered. I filed the claim after and it has been under review for weeks. I call in and I get told different things each time. on 12/2/24 I was told by Rachel from extend to allow 24-48 hours for resolution which would be 12/4/24. 12/4/24 came and the claim was still under review. 12/4/24 I called extend again and spoke to a young lady by the name of Kayla. Kayla advised me the claim was already approved it just needed to be manually approved because of the past denials (due to me filing the claim too early.) 12/9/24 I spoke to Michael from extend who made me aware that there were no past notes from my previous interactions with extend and he will be taking over the case. he also advised that it will be resolved in 24 hours and to expect a call back from him. 12/10/24 came and still nothing from Michael. now on 12/12/24 when I'm asking to raise my concern to a manager I'm being told that a police report needs to be filed in order to proceed with the claim. weeks have gone by and I have not heard about a police report until now. keep in mind I was already told by extend the claim was approved and I have all of the phone recordings. I will be writing reviews to make potential customers aware of their practice and not to purchase their protection plan. EDIT 12/21/24 This company is refusing to replace/refund my order after one of their agents confirmed that the claim was already approved and that was without needing a police report. This particular conversation with Kayla from extend was recorded and can be provided if needed.

I paid $476 for an "Extend Protection Plan with ADH" on a set of Niche wheels that I purchased from BB Wheels in June of 2024. In November I accidentally hit a pothole which resulted in both wheels on the passenger side of my vehicle (RF and RR) being damaged. I submitted pictures of both damaged (RF and RR) wheels along with my email address and contract ID through the Extend, Inc. customer claims portal. Less than 2 weeks later both wheels were replaced free of charge. The process was quick, easy and hassle free. For anyone interested in protecting their investment I would definitely recommend purchasing a protection plan through Extend Inc. It's a small price to pay for peace of mind. Thank you Extend Inc.!
I have purchased numerous amounts of products from jomashop always pleased with their products and always decide to get the warranty with extend but it's a joke they do nothing to help and deny your claim I ordered 2 items and didn't receive them at all. What's the point in getting the warranty if they do nothing to help..
They honored the claim and were responsive once we got communication linked up.
I had dye transfer from a red pillow to a white sofa. It is clearly covered. They said it was from bodily fluid transfer. When I called to complain they said they would have someone review my claim. Never heard another word from them. Today I received a small bottle of fabric cleaner and a rag. This requires a professional cleaning extraction, not a .50 bottle of cleaner and a rag. They sell this as an easy to use service but it is clear they just take your money and deny every claim. Don't believe me? Look at all the negative reviews
I bought some furniture from Ashley's a few months ago I bought an extended warranty though Extend. After a month my recliner didn't work on my couches. I called Extend 5 times in 2 months. So ever time time it's a rush obviously not. I got so mad I called Ashley's coustomer service to void Extents 5 years warranty. Because I my have to wait 5 years before they accomplish anything
I ended up with some faulty seat cushions on my sofa purchased a year ago from a well known furniture store. I filed a claim and Kelly from extend reached out immediately and assisted me in replacing my cushions. I would absolutely recommend purchasing extend to insure your merchandise. Tryphena
Purchased for mattress. Their terms specifically say it covers pet stains. Twice I was denied saying it’s normal use/bodily stain build up….what? I Specifically said it was a pet stain and they refuse to acknowledge it. Actually, I can’t even say that they refuse to acknowledge it because every time I respond back to them my messages get ignored. I reopen a ticket to them sending the same message every time. Horrible support and willingly/knowingly refuse claims that are listed under covered items. Can’t see how a lawsuit hasn’t shut them down yet.
Terrible customer service. I don’t recommend getting Extend. Their protection is in the form of a gift card that constantly expires- every 7 days. Upon trying to use the gift card, it’s not valid(?!) & the pricing of the gift card went down due to “inflation” when I needed the gift card reactivated. Reaching out to customer service wasn’t helpful despite explaining the whole situation- they didn’t answer any of my questions.

Feb 26,2025This is a scam. Bought warranty on a composite softball bat. When bat broke under normal usage I filed a claim. Claim was immediately denied without asking for any details. After disputing the claim denial and posting my review I was contacted by Extend. They informed me that the reason my claim was denied was because it was their belief that the bat was covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. After some back and forth with them and the retailer they revised their decision and warrantied the bat. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and have changed my review rating from one star to four.
