Extend shipping protection is a total scam. I had to have the bank charge back the merchandise since it was stolen from my porch. I got my money back. SCAM
The bracelet is uneven, I ruined a beautiful silk blouse with the metal’s points sticking out. It is as an amateur tried to clean it. Send a prepaid mailing label, this is totally unacceptable. R Robbins

Don't buy this; they denied my claim. I purchased it because it said you could use it in case of accidental damage. I filed a claim, and they denied it.
They state on their website that they'll replace or repair your product which is complete bullsh*t. I purchased a 3 yr contract with them for some JBL earbuds which they randomly decided to cancel without notifying me and denied that they cancelled it. I had to have Extend and JBL reps(thankfully the JBL rep was so helpful and actually cared, Extend never tried to make it right) on the phone at the same time to figure out what happened, at which point JBL had to do a whole investigation and then my contract magically appeared somehow(we still dont know what happened). All of this because one earbud stopped working but after the contract appeared, they did not want to replace or repair the earbuds like the website states. They decided to give me a gift card for the original purchase price which doesn't cover the buds now because the earbuds increased in price since the original purchase date so now I'm out of earbuds. F*** Extend and their scam. I will never deal with these scam artists again.
The entire process was handled quickly and efficiently. I had to call because I was having a problem transferring my photos from my phone to my laptop, and was given an alternative method. Replacement parts were ordered and shipped immediately. Great, competent, customer service!
Initially, the company denied my claim. When I requested an appeal, the same employee dismissed it, stating there was no appeal process. I then contacted RadPower, the company from which I purchased both my bike and protection plan. Shortly after, someone from Extend reached out, apologized, and explained that the employee had misunderstood the policy. They approved my claim and were very apologetic. I appreciated their call and follow-up. I’m grateful that Extend recognized the mistake and corrected it promptly. Because of their excellent follow-up, I changed my review from 1 star to 5 stars. OLD REVIEW: Buyer beware! My claim was denied within minutes claiming Abuse, Misuse, or damage from accidents are not covered. I bought my plan through RadPower website with my $$$$ bike. It clearly states "Your ebike is covered in case of accidental damage caused by drops, breaks, or spills, plus your manufacturer warranty is extended in case of a mechanical or electrical failure." This is in direct contrast to Extend for the reason they denied my claim. Extremely poor customer service.

Extend package protection is a scam. I purchased this with an order containing a rug and a mirror from Bed Bath & Beyond. The mirror was reported damaged by the carrier and never delivered. I submitted a claim to Extend for damaged product and explained that the item was NEVER delivered and reported damaged by UPS. Extend denied my claim citing “according to our records, your package was delivered… the photos provided do not support the claim.” I couldn’t provide photos because I never received the item!!! Bed Bath and Beyond was able to refund me the full cost of the mirror after a very short conversation explaining the situation. Save your money and DO NOT buy Extend package protection. Useless third party scam that will just waste you a few bucks!
I couldn’t be more pleased with the service that Extend provided and that I purchased this extra protection! Extend made the entire claims process quick and easy and resolution was quick.
Had a few bumps, but matters were quickly resolved, when Jetson couldn't do a split payment to allow me to cover extra cost of a new ebike. Had the matter resolved within a few hours, through Extend. Definitely highly recommend, everyone I talk to was awesome. Will not hesitate to use Extend warranty again! Highly recommend. Everyone who helped me, you all deserve a big Thank You!
SCAM ALERT!!!! This is definitely a scam. I purchased this protection plan for a mattress. When my mattress got a stain on it, they had every excuse in the book as to why they couldn’t do anything. I did end up getting the fee for the service refunded through the company where I purchased the mattress. I would definitely avoid this company, they don’t appear to be legit or ethical in ther business practices.
I would never use this insurance company. It’s a complete scam. They throw you through tireless loops in order to avoid issuing any coverage of the product purchased.

Straight RIP OFF. I had two poor delivery situations. The first was not delivered AT ALL. I was provided a refund. The second was delivered with a DAMAGED BOX, furniture exposed, I sent a pic in, paid for insurance and you all denied the claim without reason. This is my LAST TIME SHOPPING WITH YOU ALL AND BUYING A STUPID WARRANTY TO COVER LOSS OR DAMAGED DELIVERIES. Your company is still unaccountable!!! I received one refund not two. Please read my review and look at my two separate orders that BOTH had insurance protection buy-up coverage. You refunded one claim and denied the second! Why sale it back to back and know you don’t want to honor it! This was emailed to me on July 24th: Your August 9th reply is incorrect. For the amount of times you’ve called and we spoke today and you ask for ANOTHER picture after the original insurance refund email was sent with pictures is ridiculous! Understanding you don’t want a bad review..for the 100th time, I had two separate orders that were BOTH horrible experiences. The earlier July order you refunded me because the item never arrived. I was refunded by your company and advised to use your Visa within 30 days. I used it and the ottoman ordered box was damaged and the plastic covering the ottoman was ripped during shipping!! How is this my fault or acceptable!!???? I sent pictures and you don’t want to refund me as your policy implies it covers- damage during shipping. If you spent more time with checks and balances on the front end, all of this energy of pen pal writing would be avoidable. Update as of 7/30/24 - Received a call from one of the supervisors and she was great resolving everything promptly. Everything is taken care of now. I appreciate all the work. Changing my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. My final experience has been a 5 star but putting the overall rating to 4 star due to earlier back and forth. ———————————————— Update as of 7/26/24 after getting Merchant's response on my review - Those statement aren't true. I still see, under my account, that my claim was denied. I was sent a virtual card by email and when i try to access it, it gives an error. I reported this issue to your team on 7/20/24 and they promised to resolve it and give me a call by 7/22/24 but no one has either fixed it or called me so far. I have already ordered, and received, the desk from Wayfair now as I couldn't wait for your guys indefinitely. My order came badly damaged and I called Extend and guess what? They asked me to wait for 5 days before I could file a claim. Really? I simply wait for 5 days and don't know what would happen after that.

I ordered an electric skateboard with an Extend warranty on it. I bought the board just over a year ago and I have had to use the warranty several times since then. Every time I use their service they replied to me extremely quickly. They have sent me many parts to fix my board and if the first thing they send didn't work, without question they sent me another. After they feed up with all the problems with my board they even sent me an email thanking me. They have helped to fix my board many times and have been successful every single time. They have sent me over $300 worth of products to replace parts that have broke or worn out. They are by far the best warranty company I've worked with so far and would buy another warranty from them in a heartbeat.
