John Smith was courteous and helpful. He worked with Jimmy Stokes to get my tickets. Here's how this works: I bought 5 tickets for a good price. When I was finished, I received an email that informed me that the booking was "in progress". I used the chat on the website and asked how long it would take to get confirmation. John Smith told me 24-48 hours. In 24 hours I got an email that said it was urgent, and to call a number. I called and talked to someone that said it would be a few days before I could get the tickets, but that if I paid $70 per ticket more I could be upgraded to "cabin" from "coach"and get the tickets within 8 hours. I said I would wait instead, and John Smith recommended we talk to his supervisor, who could possibly give a discount, knocking it down to $50 per ticket. Our phone connection was poor, and I told him that, and refused the upgrade. The connection died. The next day I received an email that said my credit card had been billed $250. I went back to the chat on the website and asked what the charge was for, and John Smith was kind enough to check with his supervisor Jimmy Stokes at the backend server. Jimmy told him that there was an error in the backend server, and that my card had been charged $250 less than the agreed-upon price for the tickets, and that all I needed to do was authorize the charge and I would get my tickets. There was no other charge, however, and it looked suspicious. I told John Smith that the other charge wasn't there and that I would (for obvious reasons) prefer to authorize the first charge and then the $250 charge. A moment later, the other charge showed up in my credit card ledger, and combined with the $250 the total was exactly what our original contract was. So it seemed a little fishy, but I apparently have my tickets. My confirmation number checks out on Delta's website, and assuming I actually get to fly like I intend, this went okay. It is possible that there was a mistake in the "backend server" that charged my credit card exactly the same amount that my "upgrade" was going to cost, before the other charge hit. But as of right now I got what we agreed to, so I'm good.
Wilson was an outstanding person to help me with my flight ticket purchase. He has excellent customer service! Thank you! Keep up the excellent professional work you do!! thank you again
I had a great experience with River Johnson. She helped me get the best rate for my family. I was a bit skeptical from some of the reviews I saw, but I had the opposite experience. River assured me when exactly to expect my flight confirmation. Plus called me to make sure I received them. I would definitely use them again, especially with River. Thank you so much.
Jimmy stokes was very helpful in getting the tickets I wanted quickly
River Johnson was super helpful--walked me through the process, explained everything, and made this easy!
Wilson was very helpful with the whole process. Helped me get the tickets we needed and now we are booked for Florida!
Good service and helpful associates!
Jimmy Stokes was great! Really helped out!
My experience with Farecorner was remarkable. I’m not going to lie, I was a bit leery of the process and being scammed, especially when I paid for the tickets and it said processing. However, all was legit, Mr. Jerry Brown assisted me throughout the process and provided me with all of the information/assistance I needed to successfully pay for the tickets and see them on the major airline website I went through. I did receive my tickets and was able to choose my seats through the airline companies website. Farecorner hands down has the best air fare ticket prices and they are legit, I keep stressing this because for me it all worked out without a problem. Thank you Farecorner it was a delight!
Made a booking on this web site. Price seemed good, and site navigation was good. However the booking went into processing mode. I waited a few days and then contacted customer service, I was told to wait 24 to 48 hours. I waited a week and contacted customer service again. Customer Service told me that the booking was cancelled. We weren’t informed of this. I have transcripts of the two chats. It would be interesting to see the percentage of the ticket request that actually get processed. I would not recommend this site. I should have read the reviews first. I am not sure I believe the 4 and 5 star reviews.
When I searched on Kayak, I was surprised to see flights to San Francisco as expensive as they were. There is a tab on Kayak that allows you to compare other sites and one of those sites was Farecorner. I was amazed the flights in which I was interested were about $200 less than other sites. I did a quick scan of the company on a few consumer review sites and felt comfortable moving forward with the purchase. I booked my tickets and received an immediate e-mail informing me my "request" had been received and I would receive a confirmation shortly. 2 hours later I still had not received a confirmation so I contacted Farecorner via chat available on their site. The first "red flag" was the name of the customer service rep... "John Smith". I was advised it takes up to 24 hours to receive a confirmation! I book a lot of travel online but NEVER have I not received an immediate confirmation. I was told they are a new company that works in discount fares which take some time to process. The next morning, now 24 hours later, I chatted with "John Smith" again. I was told it is taking longer than expected but I would have a confirmation by the end of the day. The next morning, now 48+ hours later, I called the 800 number on their site, which indicated 24 hour service, but no one answered. Second "red flag". I then decided to do more extensive research and after doing so was convinced I had been scammed. I did a more detailed web search which revealed much more about Farecorner. In fact, it was obvious that many of the positive reviews I had read, which really said nothing more than "great company" and "excellent service", were fake. They had such limited information and each review was the only review written by those individuals. 3rd "red flag". Now I was completely convinced I had been scammed. I added reviews here and on 2 other sites cautioning others about doing business with Farecorner. I then initiated another chat with "John Smith" advising them I had reported their company as a scam. The next day, now 3 days later, I was contacted by a representative of Farecorner to advise that my tickets had been confirmed. I was forwarded an e-mail confirmation which I confirmed directly with Delta, the carrier. The tickets were legit but I was still leery. Later, I was contacted again asking that I remove my negative review since I had in fact received my tickets, but I was reluctant to do so until after my trip was complete. Once I finally received my ticket confirmation everything regarding the trip went fine. No problems with either flights. The tickets were legit. Though I'm not sure that would have happened had I not written the negative reviews. I can't say this was a positive experience by any means. In fact, it was really quite stressful, especially believing I had been scammed. But, ultimately, they did come through. Based on my experience, it is not likely I will use Farecorner again. Hopefully, as they gain more experience and improve their services, they will earn the trust of their customers. The jury is still out.
Airfare SCAM SCAM SCAM...I am a legit person with a legit complaint about the site Farecorner . You read these reviews and wonder if the they are legit and written by a real accountable person. So, YES I am real and it happened to me. Do not use this site. Booked airfare through this site and the confirmation NEVER came through. When I called the number provided it was very hard to understand the person on the other line. After two more calls to them, my calls were no longer answered and directed to "No Longer in Use." Called Delta directly and they were unaware of this name/company/site.
Complete scam. Paid in full for tickets. Months later, 40 days before my flight, I call Delta to change my seats and Delta tells me my reservation has been canceledby my "agent" a week earlier. I call Farecorner to find out why, they say "they are no longer dealing in that route." No email, no notification, nothing. So despite having confirmed seats on the flights, Farecorner just canceled my reservation and told me nothing. They can't even confirm why this happened, nor would they have even let me know if I hadn't happened to call Delta. Awful, incomprehensible customer service. Reported to the Better Business Bureau and my credit card company.
I booked two tickets and never received the tickets. The emails said " booking in progress" and to please call their number. No one picked up the call ever. They emailed me back saying they would call me. Never happened. What I learned is that if you are not issued a ticket right away, this is a RED flag and chances are you are dealing with a scam. Shame on me for not researching the company further. And ALWAYS if it is too good to be true(price) there is ALWAYS a PROBLEM. This experience has been noted.
Farecorner is a scam they show flights that they cannot actually book they do not work with the airlines. They have you book a flight on their site which looks like a good flight and you will get a notice reading your flight is being processed and 24 hours later they will ask you to contact them immediately to tell you that the airlines did not have those seats that you booked and that you have to pay more tell be in the Main Cabin. They will gladly cancel your flight at your expense Please stay away from them I am still waiting for tickets
The team was helpful throughout the entire process of the booking. I do recomend.
I appreciated their diligence to communicate and issue the tickets once a payment issue was cleared.
Farecorner makes booking multiple tickets painless and easy. The prices are the best I have seen and it takes no time at all. Best experience I have had booking multiple tickets with a travel site.
I had the pleasure with speaking with Max, and he was absolutely the most pleasant person. I had no problem getting my flights done. He was wonderful, and responds to you when you need him.
