We had some problems the first night but the representative Damon helped us out today and got everything straight. He was very helpful.
I feel like I've been scammed. After being told there is no carry on luggage, and no e-tickets. Then when I wanted to cancel, I was told the airline already charged my card and will do so in 24-48 hours. Then rep proceeded to go on and now got a change of airport and time. When I said I wanted to cancel, he said I should have already told him in the beginning and that he put in a lot of work already. If I had told him in the beginning, he would have. Now he said something different. I'm not happy but proceeded to go through with it. Hope all works out. Its not what it seems to make out to be what it is. Hence, I had to pay more!!

We booked airfare for my daughter and her family to Maui from San Diego I fist purchased 4 tickets at a price of 1054.20 then was contacted and said there was a problem with our tickets I called spoke with Gwen Hudson she informed me the tickets we purchased were stand by tickets and not guarantee that my kids would get to Maui together I explained to her my granddaughter has a medical condition and needs to be seated with my daughter and my grandson is highly allergic to foods so needs to be seated with his dad Incase he needs his epipen he is 14 but still needs his dad Gwen sad we would have to upgrade our tickets and pay and additional 1000.00 more to upgrade to regular fare out of a saver fare and our seats would be assigned We then verified with Gwen again that the seat would be assigned and she said yes my booking department is working on that right now and that’s why it’s taking so long I was on the phone for over an hour with her then by the end of the call she said we will receive our ETickets with the assigned seats within 30 minutes and if we had any problems or need her just email her and she will call right back. When we received the etickets they were saver tickets with no assigned seating and we would have to purchase our seats at 89.00 each x 4 for 2 flights that’s an additional $712.00 if this is the case we would like you to refund this amount because Gwen Hudgson assured us our seats were included in the upgrade price. We have contacted American Express and they advised us to reach out to you first so we can come up with a solution, because they didn’t want to lock up our tickets. If we don’t hear back within 72 hours they said they would proceed with a fraud charge if we want at that time we have shown them the paperwork Gwen sent us but also explained we also had a verbal contract with her as well and they understood and agreed.
Fareporto was great! They assisted me with all the steps to booking the best flight and the best price at the time. They even patiently worked through some minor setbacks and it was a phenomenal outcome!
Thieves they advertise for a ticket to sell it to you and tell you that it's a standby ticket force you to upgrade or else go stand at the airport. Hoping you might get a seat.
What a scam. I bought 2 tickets for $450,- each. Other website I saw the ticket for about $630. I taught I got a really good deal at fareporto.com. They sent confirmation and all. I went to the airport, at the airport they could not find our names. I called fareporto, hanging more than 2 hours at the phone with them. Some hours prior my flight they has sent me a email, telling that there were problems with the tickets I bought at that price, It was not possible to get those tickets at that price. Because I had no option at that moment I had to purchase new tickets each ticket for $921,- People fareporto is really a scam. Lesson learned for me, I saw bad reviews before purchase, but because I also saw some good reviews I took the chance. Bad decision. I usually don't write reviews, but this one I felt almost my obligation to warn other people to not make the same mistake as I have made. Don't buy ticket from fareporto.com They are scammmmm.
Fareporto is a SCAM!! They called us and told us that our prices have changed and that we need to pay more or be at the airport 3 hours before the flight. You might get your flight and you might not. Its a gamble. I sat on the phone with George for 2 hours, while calling out all the discrepancies in the information that he was giving me. After he got fed up, he hung up on me! When I got back on the phone with him, he acted like we never talked before and hung up on me again later in the call. Stand by flights are for same day! We paid 332.87 and he told us that the new prices was 967.34 and that we had to pay the difference to get on the same flight. YOU CAN NOT BUY STANDBY TICKETS EARLY!!

100% scam You buy the ticket then they send you an email asking for you to call. When you call, they slow-boil you into accepting that the flight is stand-by and when you consider the upgrade price, it's the price you already paid + the full ticket fare.
