Farewill pasted my late Father probate onto new law and it’s gone from bad to worse from 17/09/2021. New Law didn't Started prose till 2024 February nearly 3 year after the police had contacted New Law . It is the responsibility of executors and administrators to preserve and accurately value the assets of a deceased person's estate. However, you have prevented me from accessing the property to maintain it, repair the gutters, and manage the overgrown grass, which has reached a height of two meters. This neglect led to a burglary at my next-door neighbor's house while they were home during the day. When I changed the locks because I was denied access to the property, the first set of police officers arrived. My neighbors informed the officers that I needed access to my family's home, to which the officers responded that this was a civil matter to be handled in court and not a matter for police intervention. After the second police visit, my neighbor contacted me urgently. At that point, I was again denied access to the property for maintenance. The police officer involved assumed he knew all about probate, but I informed him that my sister did not have the authority to prevent my access because she had not been granted probate. After six unsuccessful attempts to reach your office, I handed the phone to the police officer, who eventually spoke with one of your colleagues and confirmed that the probate application had not been submitted. The officer felt embarrassed upon learning this. I was then asked to produce bills to prove that I had been paying the property's expenses, which I had done during the first year, but the bills were stored in my flat, from which I am now being evicted. On top of this, as of May 31, 2023, the interest rate for inheritance tax increased to 7%. Then, on July 11, 2023, it rose again to 7.5%, more than double the rate from July 2022. This increased interest is now applicable to overdue IHT payments, which has been caused solely by your delay in submitting the probate application. All you have done is lie and make excuses, despite the fact that probate was not even required for my father’s estate. My uncle, who passed away a month later without a will, was granted probate within three months, and my aunt's probate process was similarly straightforward. Your office's delays and errors have caused significant stress and financial loss. My sister and I were misled, and you made me the scapegoat for your incompetence. I have seen the probate forms filled out with my father's name listed as the beneficiary instead of mine, as was appropriate. Even my sister sent me a copy of these incorrectly filled forms, which listed both her name and my father's name as beneficiaries, excluding me. Furthermore, my sister sent me a written message via WhatsApp, suggesting that I should apply for probate myself. This is unacceptable given that over 50% of reviews claim your firm is incompetent in completing forms accurately, leading to delays and significant errors such as not even getting names correct. Your actions have only exacerbated the situation, causing unnecessary delays and financial harm due to the rising interest rates on overdue inheritance tax. I expect immediate rectification of this situation, including the proper submission of the probate application and an explanation of how you intend to address the financial losses incurred due to your delays. This matter needs urgent attention to prevent further harm and ensure that my father's estate is handled appropriately. youtube videos to upload soon ! DO NOT USE NEW LAW UK !
