Ordered a Thors hammer. Came fresh when said and was actually more weight than said. Was delicious! Will definitely be using again!
The product ordered was as described, amazing quality and l will order again, however my delivery was dropped off half a mile away from my home, thankfully a kind neighbour let me know so l was able to retrieve the parcel before any cat or dog got to it first.
The quality of the meat is always superb. I love that they do bavette steak which always seems to be hard to find in my local area. My go to for meat.
Prompt delivery good service and excellent product Lovely to be able to get mutton for my curries And wonderful chorizo
Starting with their website it’s so easy to use and have such a great range of products. They have good offers on different products all the time and you can sign up for meat boxes each week/month. I’ve had lots of different products from Farmison & Co ranging from a Christmas turkey and trimmings to big juicy steaks. If you like meat and want top quality but that has also been look after throughout the animals life then they are definitely worth a try, you won’t be disappointed. Super tasty. Delivery is well packaged/stored and they have really useful slots available. Well done Farmison & Co 👊🏻
Meat was of excellent quality. 2nd time ordering the 32day age fore rib and it impresses me everytime how delicious it is. I will be order more meat from this company. Customer service was quick and responsive.
Decent value for great quality meat
Having received a great Sirloin joint for Christmas I placed a repeat order, sadly joint I was sent had a considerable fat cap amounting to around 30% leaving me very dissapointed.
Twice ordered the sirloin for Sunday roast. Expensive, but well worth it as the flavour is unparalleled.
Tasty and tender lamb. However, having ordered some pork, I was emailed to inform me that it was out of stock which is disappointing having paid for it etc. I was asked if I wanted a refund or credit. I chose the refund but never had confirmation. Rather disappointing feedback.
My latest delivery was disappointing. One item was left out and another was substituted for a lesser quality item. The shin was squashed flat it was so packed down. Not what I expect from a premium company.
Ordered for the first time last week. Website is easy to navigate and all product descriptions were informative. Delivery was fantastic. The packaging kept the meat cool and the delivery time was spot on. Can’t wait to start cooking!
Delivered the wrong order
Always deliver on time and the meat is excellent quality. I’m so glad I found Farmison & Co!
They said their bacon wouldnt shrink or produce water in the pan and they delivered on that promise. Lovely flavour to boot. And the 500gm ribeye? I have a very happy tum.
We were very pleased with beef wellington
Meat exceptionally good - quick and efficient delivery - buy often
Excellent meat and friendly, professional service. I definitely recommend this company.
As a long time customer I am really disappointed to discover from personal experience and now from other people's reviews on Trustpilot that "fresh" can mean "frozen" in Farmison's world. Today I had a so called "fresh" 2kg turkey breast delivered. It was partly defrosted from a frozen joint. I phoned customer service, as I know Farmison also sell a frozen version. I thought I'd been sent the wrong one in a packing error (another item was missing entirely). Paul in Customer services was very nice but put in the unfair position of being a go-between between me telling him one thing (ie what I was seeing and feeling with my own eyes and hands) and people at Farmison telling him something else. Namely that: quote"our fridges are much colder than a conventional fridge (around -8c). This means the meat is in the process of chilling between it's freezing point. Food is considered frozen after the -12c point, however, the aim of chilling is to store products low enough in temperature to reduce the growth of bacteria, but high enough to avoid ice crystal growth. I have been assured by them that you are absolutely fine to freeze your Turkey Breast which was supplied."unquote By this time I had tried to cut the so-called fresh turkey into portions to freeze as I had originally planned. It was completely frozen throughout the middle. Ice crystals came away on my hands. The middle was solidly frozen; the outer parts mostly defrosted. I shall not re-freeze it as that would be dangerous. The only good thing is that I didn't just assume it was fresh and cook it today. Cooking partly frozen turkey is not a healthy idea. I'm shocked to read on Trust pilot that others have also been given the spiel about frozen being fresh, though with variations on what Farmison claim their chiller cabinet temperatures are. I shan't buy from Farmison again. I feel they can't be trusted.
