May 25,2023I was very worried about sending my hard drive for repair to Fields Data Recovery after negative experience with another company. My hard drive had a mechanical issue with a head after it felt on the floor. They provide free diagnostic including shipping your hard drive back if you decided not to continue with them. They responded with a prognosis in a timely manner thinking they would be able to recover the data. Later they were able to provide the full list of recovered data and quote for that, so you know exactly what you are paying for. This kind of fixes are expensive – the final quote came back higher than site description, but it was still much more reasonable than the other companies charge. I ended up paying $1K+ for my hard drive repair. The Fields representative Julian Henson kept me informed all the way and was very polite, patient, and responsive. It also took a little longer than discussed, but I was not in a rush, and it worked fine for me. The whole process took about 3-4 weeks including shipping. Reference - WO-003708

May 17,2023This is my first time using Fields. I reformatted three different SSD cards more than once because I didn't know what that meant. Lost everything from several trips. I was told that it would be hard to recover and that they couldn't get everything back. Of course I was upset but they recovered more than what I expected. 95%! I had read some reviews that this was a scam site, you didn't get what you paid for, too expensive, ect. I didn't experience that. And going to several other places, the price was good. I'm so happy I get to relive my trips again.

May 07,2023Julian reached out to me when was looking to recover data from an old SATA drive that was about 10 years old. All personal info, not business stuff, but it had data, family pictures and personal docs that I would have had a hard time replacing. He gave me a quote, stuck to it, and kept me updated. I also got a file list of everything they recovered ( which was everything). Other clean rooms quoted me in the thousands!! good bunch of folks, and would highly recommend them

Apr 20,2023I put a request quote in and within 5 mins they called me. They walked me through the process. Followed up with emails and calls. Sometimes an email would go out about the status and then a phone call was immediately made. I had a shipping label within 45 mins. I shipped the drive. It arrived a day later. I was called when the drive arrived at the lab. And then within 6 hours of the lab having the drive. They already had diagnostics and a full lab report. They didn’t promise that. They said 48 hours but it happened that fast. They sent me a full report. Didn’t pressure to pay. gave me time to look at the report and then followed up with a call 30 mins later. The link was easy to pay. I did feel a little uneasy when everything was going so smoothly and realized I didn’t get a receipt for the payment. But then I received tracking information that the drive had been sent. The usb drive with my files on it was shipped on Friday. I received it by weds morning. All in all from Thursday - weds all of my worries had disappeared. I had about 7500 files on an external hard drive. The drive had failed. After two IT groups at two different institutions tried to get the data. FDR was able to get it done in 6 hours. I was charged the top end. But it was worth the stress. Can’t thank this company enough for its excellent customer service as well as accomplishing a full recovery of my files. My drive was shipped from Newark DE.

Feb 10,2023I've never repair hard drives before so i was very worried about being scammed or something similar (keep in mind that this kind of fixes are expensive) but the guys from Fields Data Recovery where very attentive, Joshua was always very kind and respectful and attentive to my inquiries, they took about two to three weeks to ask for replacement part for the broken hard drive in order to recover files from it and put them on a new hard drive. After all I received the files, just a small porcentage get completely lost, but the most important files were there, I'm happy and satisfied after the job. Thanks a lot!

Jul 05,2023Unfortunately, towards the end of the school year I lost all of my curriculum on my external hard drive. Fields retrieved my data for roughly $1200. They did a great job recovering the data and for that I am truly grateful. I would have appreciated more updates on their part. More communication would have made the process less stressful and confusing.
