Founded in 2014, Furniture Direct Online, a family business with over 40 years of expertise in the furniture industry. From the beginning Furniture Direct Online has been focused on supplying the best quality furniture at the most affordable prices for our customers.
In 2015 we moved to our brand new 80,000 sq ft warehouse in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This progress allowed us to stock hold over 20,000 sofas and achieve fast, reliable deliveries.
In 2019 we faced the challenge of the global pandemic. With thousands of sofas in stock and the lounging lifestyle, we all became accustomed to during the lockdown. This is where Furniture Direct Online stepped up, to become a household name. Delivering over 100 sofas per day nationwide.
Here we are now, in 2024 with our new look and thousands of happy customers. Our mission still remains the same, striving to bring you incredible quality furniture at the most affordable prices with the absolute best customer experience.

Sep 25,2024They are a great company, ordering was so easy, fast delivery it took two weeks from me placing my order to my sofa been delivered. You can pick a day/time to suit you which is really good. The delivery company phoned me on the morning of the delivery to let me know what time they would be arriving. They double checked everything was right before leaving. Would definetly recommend

Sep 22,2024After finding the perfect sofa it was an easy transaction. Delivery was fantastic and the guys were very helpful. Only issue was a couple of missing feet, messaging the company they was with me next day. These were recommended to me and I highly recommend them as well.

Sep 17,2024Absolute disgusting company first purchased a corner sofa April 2023 within a few months the stitching started to come apart the arm on the sofa also started ripping, contacted them they replaced that half of the sofa,few months later the same thing started happening again on the middle section of the sofa,again that part was replaced.Now the end section of the sofa has done the exact same thing and this time they won't replace it because they say the warranty has ended,this has been absolute nothing but stress and should not have happened in the first place to begin with very poor quality and workmanship I'd strongly advise anyone to reconsider using this company

The delivery time was very fast and the delivery team were very polite and helpful. The quality of our sofa it’s amazing and it’s very comfortable. Sep 16,2024I placed an order on the 24th of July and when I placed this order, I was speaking to someone on the Facebook page explaining I couldn't get my sofa delivered till the first week of September because I was away on holiday. I then received a text message saying my sofa was due to be delivered 07/08/2024 I then had to ring the company and explain I couldn't have it delivered then because I'm not here, they said that's fine they will put it on hold and when I'm back ring them and they will rebook for the sofa to be delivered. I've called up the delivery company got it rebooked in to be delivered on the 04/09/2024 between 7am-10am so I took the day off work and waited for the sofa to then receive another message saying it will be delivered closer to 7am. Then another text message asking me to confirm my postcode. I also double check with the furniture direct company over the phone about this delivery they said yes all correct I will receive it. It got to about 7:15 I received an email saying my delivery has been cancelled due to packing issues. Basically, didn't have my sofa. I then rang the delivery company again to get it rebooked in on 06/09/2024 to then having to take another day off work to find out half an hour before 10am the sofa isn't getting delivered. To now find out it can't be delivered till Monday and I'm working till the afternoon, as I can't take another day off work as I'm losing out on money at this point. It's such poor service, I spoke to someone from the delivery company yesterday explaining I know they don't have the goods, and she couldn't understand a word I was saying because she couldn't speak clear English. She was just trying to change my delivery slot. The furniture direct company doesn't seem to have a clue what's going on either because one minute their saying the delivery company don't have my good, don't have my details so they can't even deliver. To then be told they are delivering, to find out they aren't. It's an absolute mess, and such shocking service from a company. I've lost two days of work waiting in for a sofa that didn't show up. I'm not being told I must wait an extra 3 days with no sofa. I have now received the sofa and it came with a footstool being ripped and a bit of freding on the seat I complained again and they have given me £70 off my bill. Although I do have the insurance cover. It was just a big mess start to finish. The only positive I can say it is a beautiful sofa and very comfortable.

Better quality than I was expecting for the price and its size is perfect for our living room. Having the finance option made it even better as we were able to spread the cost interest free too! delivery was fantastic such great communication from start to finish. Will definitely be using this company again. Definitely recommend.

I were kept updated on my order, delivery etc. Any questions I had were answered promptly. The delivery guys were also great, they phoned to say how long they would be. Would highly recommend this company, all round excellent experience.
