Founded in 2014, Furniture Direct Online, a family business with over 40 years of expertise in the furniture industry. From the beginning Furniture Direct Online has been focused on supplying the best quality furniture at the most affordable prices for our customers.

In 2015 we moved to our brand new 80,000 sq ft warehouse in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This progress allowed us to stock hold over 20,000 sofas and achieve fast, reliable deliveries.

In 2019 we faced the challenge of the global pandemic. With thousands of sofas in stock and the lounging lifestyle, we all became accustomed to during the lockdown. This is where Furniture Direct Online stepped up, to become a household name. Delivering over 100 sofas per day nationwide.

Here we are now, in 2024 with our new look and thousands of happy customers. Our mission still remains the same, striving to bring you incredible quality furniture at the most affordable prices with the absolute best customer experience.

Everything was really easy. From ordering the sofa to getting it delivered, it was less that a week. So happy with our purchase. I was worried as £1000 was a lot to spend without seeing the sofa but it was worth every penny and more. Highly recommend

Received delivery of sofa and footstool on Wednesday 2nd of October,my granddaughter sat on the sofa for no more than 30 minutes when she got up the sofa was sagging. After phone calls and numerous emails I was offered £50 discount which I refused.I have given them 14 days to uplift the sofa and footstool.Will wait on their reply.I would avoid at all costs.Monday 21st October still no response from seller .Under the consumer rights act 2015 I have every right to send the items back. Update as of the 1st November told in numerous emails that they are going to phone,still waiting. Absolute shambles of a company and after sales non existent.But I've not gone away ,I'm taking it further.

Absolutely love my sofa. 2weeks delivery which was fine. This company has very good communication and answer very fast. Only down fall was unpacking it myself. If there was an option to pay extra to take it all out the packaging and piece it together I would have. Comfiest sofa I’ve I had :-)

Stated 3-5 days for delivery it’s now the 10th day and no sofa. Was meant to be delivered today but they have cancelled.

Told it would only take 5 day's for delivery, it took 3 weeks. After delivery unpacked chair to find small teer on arm. Despite emails and photos and phone calls, nothing has been done, it is now 4 months, still nothing . And no contact from company.

Edited to add.. replacement sofa now delivered. The second time round the new delivery team were great, was very careful not to damage my property and very helpful. I have updated my rating to 3 stars now.. I can’t go any higher than that as although the sofa problem is now rectified the damage done to my floor during the first delivery cost me over £300 to replace. I had Orlando 3 and 2 seaters delivered last week. During delivery my brand new vinyl floor was badly torn. I have had to rip up the floor and get it replaced with laminate. I heard a zapping sound coming from the 3 seater and found a live electrical wire exposed and sparking. I have young children in the house and this absolutely terrified me. I have contacted furniture direct online and they say they have arranged an exchange but as of yet I have no been given a date of exchange, they simply say ‘this week’. It is unacceptable to leave a family with a not only faulty sofa but a dangerous one. This exchange should be urgent and a priority.

What can I say this truly is our dream sofa. Beautifully made and delivery was spot on. I was kept up to date on how long it would be until they arrived. Delivery boys brought in my massive new sofa with no problem. I would 100% recommend furniture direct online to anyone looking for a quality and well made piece of furniture. Ordering my sofa itself was easy, the website was easy to use and pay for with no problem at all. I received a message straight away to confirm my order and few days later a message from the delivery company to confirm a date and time. Very happy customer.
