Founded in 2014, Furniture Direct Online, a family business with over 40 years of expertise in the furniture industry. From the beginning Furniture Direct Online has been focused on supplying the best quality furniture at the most affordable prices for our customers.
In 2015 we moved to our brand new 80,000 sq ft warehouse in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This progress allowed us to stock hold over 20,000 sofas and achieve fast, reliable deliveries.
In 2019 we faced the challenge of the global pandemic. With thousands of sofas in stock and the lounging lifestyle, we all became accustomed to during the lockdown. This is where Furniture Direct Online stepped up, to become a household name. Delivering over 100 sofas per day nationwide.
Here we are now, in 2024 with our new look and thousands of happy customers. Our mission still remains the same, striving to bring you incredible quality furniture at the most affordable prices with the absolute best customer experience.

Apr 03,2024Genuinely one of the best retail experiences I have ever had. At the beginning of March, I secured a new flat to live in and began shopping around for new furniture. I was after a specific style of couches I used to have years ago that i absolutely loved but saw it was no longer offered online at the place I got it. However, after a deep dive google search, I came across furniture direct online and they had the exact couch I was after - the Sloane sofa! Having never heard of this company before, I was a bit hesitant at first, but after calling their customer service line - I was immediately impressed. Because they’re based in the north and I’m based in london, going to view the couch at their showroom wasn’t an option, but they offered a FaceTime call to me to show me the couch that way. I was genuinely impressed by this customer service. They ended up showing me the couch on FaceTime from their showroom and I loved it. Exactly as the pictures showed. Beyond that, the pricing of their Sloane range is far and away the cheapest of any others I could find on any other sites! I then proceeded to purchase the sofa (4 seater) to secure it, however, there was an issue as I wouldn’t actually have the keys for the new address for another 3-4 weeks. Showing their customer service is again first class, they insisted this wasn’t a problem. Speaking to ash on the phone, he said they’d get the sofa ready and once I had the key to the new place to call him directly on his direct phone and he’d immediately arrange for the couriers to deliver. A few weeks went by and I was given a definitive move-in date by my landlord. I called Ash back and told him and he said he’d get in touch with the courier right away and arrange delivery so I had my sofa ready to go on my move in date. I decided on the same call that I also wanted an arm chair from the same range added to my order but was concerned it would incur another delivery fee given it would be a separate order being made well after the first. Ash told me that is no problem at all and insisted he’d immediately refund the second delivery fee. I placed the order and true to his word, I was immediately refunded for the fee. I have now moved in and my couch was almost immediately delivered. Could not be happier with the sofa. Fits soooooooo well with my living room and the style and look is exactly as I pictured. If you’re looking for a sofa, I could not recommend these guys enough. A+++++ service along with A+++++ quality furniture and A+++++ competitive prices. Happy customer for sure. Cheers!

Mar 27,2024We are so pleased with our new sofa bed. We got the idea from a friend who also recently purchased this sofa. The ordering and dispatch was very quick and delivered within 9 days of ordering. The courier left at 1am to get to our address and delivery was on time and first drop of the day at 6.30 am! The couriers were very friendly and helpful and assembled the sofa and took at the packaging away. Very impressed highly recommend!

Mar 19,2024Not the best customer service order a Vegas chair with chrome feet but when I had it delivered on 15/3/24 at 12.30 when I look at the chair there was no chrome feet on it so I phone and was told to email which I did I phone at 15.05 just be told the customer service person gone home and will not be back till Monday today Tuesday had a phone call ask me what they can do for me to give them a better review they could have offer me like say £50 for saying it hard chrome feet

Mar 15,2024Absolutely love this sofa!!! I ordered 12/02/24 and the sofa came 08/03/24, it did take a extra few days to deliver but i didnt mind, delivery drivers were amazing aswell. Everyone has commented on how "Georgeous' it looks and how well it goes in my living room. If you're wanting a sofa but not sure about ordering from a place on the Internet, seriously don't worry and give these people a chance. Amazing service.
