Founded in 2014, Furniture Direct Online, a family business with over 40 years of expertise in the furniture industry. From the beginning Furniture Direct Online has been focused on supplying the best quality furniture at the most affordable prices for our customers.
In 2015 we moved to our brand new 80,000 sq ft warehouse in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This progress allowed us to stock hold over 20,000 sofas and achieve fast, reliable deliveries.
In 2019 we faced the challenge of the global pandemic. With thousands of sofas in stock and the lounging lifestyle, we all became accustomed to during the lockdown. This is where Furniture Direct Online stepped up, to become a household name. Delivering over 100 sofas per day nationwide.
Here we are now, in 2024 with our new look and thousands of happy customers. Our mission still remains the same, striving to bring you incredible quality furniture at the most affordable prices with the absolute best customer experience.

Jun 05,2024The process of ordering my new sofa was so easy. There was so much choice to pick from, but I knew what I wanted. Once it was ordered, delivery was booked for a few days later. Day of delivery communication was in place, the two delivery guys were polite and helpful, and delivered it safely. Can and will highly recommend these guys. The sofa is so nice and well made and fits perfectly into my little room 💕

Deliver guys where really friendly and helpful. Also assembly was a doddle took 10 minutes to put together and fantastic quality also. (sofa is the carnaby)

Jun 04,2024We got a Meridian sofa and a Sloane chair delivered last week and are very pleased with our purchase. A few minor issues around delivery were sorted out with good customer service. The furniture feels good quality and is very comfortable. Hoping it will last well too. Have spent a long time looking for a big sofa/day bed to lounge around on that will also covert into a more sociable horseshoe shape for entertaining guests.

Jun 03,2024Late delivery I told them i as going on holiday they sent the wardrobe that day ! Then told me I had ten days to view the wardrobe obviously I was away but didn’t state that when I told them I was going away ! Then the item came the fittings are poor the turn key fittings are all loose so they don’t grab the wood so dosent pull the frame together and is an over bed wardrobe so not safe ! Also one side panel the main structure one of the fitting screw in went straight through the cheap chip-wood panel ! So I ask for a part replacement ! They told me would cost £49 and £10 delivery I said lucky I’m not sending the whole thing back and no I refuse to pay for this as the wardrobe cost me £550.00 ! And wasn’t worth it ! So then I try to assemble the other parts and they were also loose not fit for purpose and certainly not safe to have hanging over my head why I’m sleeping ! They refuse to take back said its in their policy!! once part assembled ! I said how do you know if the wardrobe is good till you assemble it !!! So to date I will be contacting trading standards as this was a lot of money for cheap product thumbs down for me and will not be buying anything else from this company who do not keep there customers happy !!! :( now I’m stuck with all I can say is a pile of fire wood as not safe to use as an over bed wardrobe !! For £30 more I have an amazing quality wardrobe from wayfarer and so easy to assemble I wish I’d have bought from the same company ! my Pa did it in an hour at best and is perfect quality !!get your act together guys :/ !!!!!

The delivery guys were also friendly and well respectful of our property. The sofa looks amazing and we are thrilled with it. Also it's brilliant that they allow you to spread the cost as I wouldnt be able to afford a new sofa otherwise. Highly recommended! :D

May 23,2024Love my sofas! From start to finish communication was on point. No question was too big or small. I’m in Glasgow and I wanted to see the sofas in person. I visited the showroom in person. I travelled by train and Ash was kind enough to pick me up from the train station, I really appreciated this. Ordering was easy and delivery was seamless. Updates were regular. Sofa arrived well packed and protected wrapped in cardboard and plastic. Cushions and footstools, everything was well wrapped. Delivery guys were polite and worked fast. They definitely knew what they were doing, coming across well experienced. My doors are narrow but they knew exactly how to get the sofa in through the doors. Great trustworthy company to buy from for good quality sofas. I definitely recommend them.
