Founded in 2014, Furniture Direct Online, a family business with over 40 years of expertise in the furniture industry. From the beginning Furniture Direct Online has been focused on supplying the best quality furniture at the most affordable prices for our customers.
In 2015 we moved to our brand new 80,000 sq ft warehouse in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This progress allowed us to stock hold over 20,000 sofas and achieve fast, reliable deliveries.
In 2019 we faced the challenge of the global pandemic. With thousands of sofas in stock and the lounging lifestyle, we all became accustomed to during the lockdown. This is where Furniture Direct Online stepped up, to become a household name. Delivering over 100 sofas per day nationwide.
Here we are now, in 2024 with our new look and thousands of happy customers. Our mission still remains the same, striving to bring you incredible quality furniture at the most affordable prices with the absolute best customer experience.

I made a mistake with my order and despite it being out of hours at the weekend, my WhatsApp message was answered immediately with an extremely helpful message putting my mind at ease immediately. First thing Monday morning and everything was sorted. I cannot recommend them more highly. Superb customer service.

Jul 19,2023I received my sofa very quickly it was delivered within 3 days however when I bought the sofa i wasn’t made aware I would have to assemble it myself so I had to pay an extra £40 on the morning to the delivery men for it to be put together I feel this should be made clearer when purchasing i feel this is something you should receive automatically as it also checks that all is ok with the delivery before they leave I was then left with all the packaging and boxes as was told there was no room on the van even though I had just had 2 big sofa’s delivered however I am very happy with my new sofa’s there very nice

Really pleased with both sofas they look more expensive than they were and my husband worked for a well known sofa company for years and even he is impressed with the quality. Delivery crew were great too, kept us informed of when they would be delivering the sofas and got them in our house with ease. Would definitely recommend this company.

Jul 15,2023My furniture was delivered within a few days, I was highly delighted with it but unfortunately there was a small cut it the fabric on the arm of the sofa, a new section of furniture was delivered within a few days and it all looks fabulous 👌 This company is a breath of fresh air, their sales team, delivery team, and customer services are excellent ! I will definitely use them again, and will recommend them toall my friends and family.

Jun 26,2023First of all, the company had all the correct measurements on line of each sofa so I could work out whether it all fit ok. The team were really helpful, I messaged and called several times asking stupid questions and they were so helpful. It was delivered in a few days. The sofa it's self is super comfy and really nice quality. I'm really happy with it. The delivery guys bought the whole thing in really fast. They were considerate and professional. Long story short, DFS has a lot to learn from these guys. Seriously a good team all round.
