Ordered 20 sleepers, happy with about a 3rd of them. Majority have excess amount of sticky sap mixed with green treatment chemical oozing out, long cracks and edges either sawn off at an angle, or bark, or rot. Company only happy to consider compensation for one sleeper which had rotting wood flaking off (like something you find on a beach). Offloading was dangerous, driver clearly nervous as sleepers are wider than the ramp on the back, clearly not the right type of lorry for a pallet of 20 sleepers.
We ordered bark, we were not given a delivery time and judt told to be available from 8 to 5. We paid someone to wait there for it and it never arrived. We can't get hold of anyone either. Fuming is not even close to how we feel. It's a job for a client what a flippen useless company
Like others I was concerned about some of the negative reviews but everything was very good. The sleepers are high quality. They do vary in colour but that was related to how wet each one was. The heavier (wetter) ones were more brown. They have dried out now and they are pretty much the same colour. Requested a 7.5 tonne truck and customer service confirmed. 36 Tonne truck turned up but the driver was very helpful and assisted in unloading. Clearly a 2.4m sleeper will not fit on a tail lift and so I don't understand why the numpties complained about this in their negative reviews. If you want 40kg sleepers delivered to your door in a timeslot then you need to pay someone a lot more to collect them for you. You can't expect an Amazon service for these heavy products that go on an overnight palletised service. The website is very clear that you need 2 people to unload.
Excellent delivery service, and th wood was as expected. Unfortunately, 2 of the 4 sleepers had a bad wood worm problem. Didn't cost much to treat, but did slow the process down a little.
Ordered 12 sleepers from Gardoo on Wednesday, delivered Friday no problems. Driver was very helpful moving them on a pallet to where we needed. The sleepers look great on first inspection - very impressed all round!
Just received railway sleepers excellent quality and value for money. Delivered on chosen date with specific instructions passed on to courier by superb customer services.
Exemplary service, exemplary product, and professional communication from ordering to delivery. The delivery service was outstanding and the driver was an absolute credit to his company.
I always think the true test of an organisation is when somethings goes wrong. The delivery driver had a true emergency and could make the pre-arranged time. Customer service switched into top gear and responded and kept me informed. The delivery was made on time the next day and the driver could not have been more helpful. The Bark was of good quality and consistent throughout, great value great service!
Instead of the spent mushroom compost I ordered (“sterilised well rotted farmyard or horse manure mixed with straw”) they sent me a bag of low grade council ‘soil improver’ (full of chunks of plastic, metal, stones and broken glass) “by mistake”. I’ll never know if they actually have any mushroom compost to sell, or whether it’s any good, as I’ve now ordered from a different company. So beware of ‘mistakes’ in your order, and if you’re buying their “organic green compost” (according to them this is what they sent me) please be aware you can get exactly the same stuff for free at your local council tip. To be fair they didn’t quibble and issued a refund promptly, but the experience has caused delay, been a waste of time and effort and has left me with a rather uneasy feeling about the extent to which this company maybe thinks it can get one over on its customers.
It was really good to deal with a company found on the internet that did exactly what it said on the tin. The product was not only great it was very reasonably priced and the delivery came when the company blurb said it would. Finally the delivery driver was conscientious and helpful. Would use Gardoo again if the opportunity arises.

Read some of the reviews and was a little sceptical but...... ordered 20 sleepers for a specific delivery day. Lorry turned up on the day with the right order. It was a real pain for the delivery driver as he only had a pump truck and the sleepers were about 6 inches too wide for his truck but he was a superstar. Figured it out and left them for me on my drive. Sleepers all look fine. Sure, there’s a variation in colour but they are wooden sleepers - it’s natural. These guys are low cost and get it done. I would definitely go back.
Avoid at all costs! They will deliberately get your default delivery address wrong & deliver to your invoice address costing you excessive redelivery costs. My husband is a builder/carpenter & I had to deal with this mistake TWICE. I work from home & do not have the time to be interrupted TWICE for your incompetence. I had to talk to the delivery driver, then call my husband. I AM NOT YOUR PERSONAL COMPLAINTS DEPARTMENT. YOU PUT MY HUSBAND'S JOB ON DELAY COSTING TIME & MONEY. YOU INTERRUPTED MY WORK TWICE. 1st delivery sent to wrong address = £122.08. The 2nd confirmed redelivery of which was confirmed by Gardoo = £85 AND WAS AGAIN DELIVERED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. IS THIS HOW YOU MAKE YOUR MONEY????
Should be 0 stars INCOMPETENCE BEYOND BELIEF! Sent my order to wrong delivery address TWICE costing my company money in lost wages as had to send staff home on full pay. Gardoo are cheap but their incompetent staff make the whole experience expensive so don't bother using them. They even made me pay an extra £85 delivery charge saying I had entered the wrong delivery address! But they sent it to the WRONG delivery address AGAIN even after a confirmation email stating the right address!!!!! So I paid over £200 in delivery charges for a £168 order! Trading Standards being informed UPFATE: Their reply still points the finger elsewhere and doesn't excuse why they made the same mistake TWICE! I also note that they can reply on Trustpilot straight away but have yet to answer my letter of complaint or given me a refund! SCUM
Excellent! Good customer service and communication. I bought the bulk bag of woodland mulch and it’s lovely. The delivery driver was nice and helpful too. A good experience all round!
I was a bit skeptical before i ordered the sleeper after i had read some of the reviews but my experience was very good. I ordered 23 green sleepers, they arrived on the day they said they would, i did ensure i put in the delivery instructions that i needed a 7.5 tonne lorry as a bigger lorry wouldn't have got up my road, i was told if a bin lorry can get up my road then a 7.5 tonne lorry can. The driver did say he had a bad back but as i had 2 people read to unload the sleepers it wasnt a problem. The sleepers are very good, obviously due to them being wood some do have a few splits and one or two did have a knock or two, but given the price i think they are wholly exceptable. I have not used them yet but all of the ones i got have at least one side that could be used as an outward facing sleeper. Very good service Gardoo, im impressed. Delivery cost was a little high but i guess that is to be expected with the cost of haulage now.
Ordered 23 sleepers all good quality easy to order fast delivery arrived two days later ,,was a bit dubious as some reviews weren’t very good but VERY GLAD I ORDERD FROM THIS COMPANY no hold ups No problems and as said good quality WILL DEFINITELY USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN thanks

I ordered 18 sleepers from this company because my regular suppliers were out of stock and despite all the bad reviews I thought I would give them a chance. Well I must say I was really impressed from start to finish including the easy ordering online and the competitive prices they offered then the prompt delivery service and the very friendly helpful driver and quality materials. I have been in the landscaping industry for over twenty years and was extremely impressed with the service and will not hesitate to recommend or use again in the future well done Gardoo a first class service.

Apr 02,2021Let down. Delivery date was rearranged by gardoo because they had willingly taken my payment but didn't in fact have the product. I obliged with the rearrangement in good faith but the delivery date has been and gone without any signs of what I ordered. Customer service haven't updated me and don't answer the phone. On hold for more than an hour each time. I had arranged help shifting the product and that opportunity has now passed. I'm a very dissatisfied customer.
