We look after the legal side of residential property sales, purchases and remortgage. We act for corporate clients, 'High Street' Lenders and individuals wishing to change their mortgage product from one brand to another.
We are based in Maidenhead but provide services to customers and clients nationwide. We are available for personal meetings with our local clients and available on the phone for our clients who are based elsewhere in the country.

Oct 04,2022We used GPL as they were the assigned solicitors for conveyancing our NatWest remortgage. I found the whole process very painless and easy. The online portal was very intuitive and easy to follow. Any calls (which were few and far between) were always picked up first time and any queries dealt with, there and then. Most queries were dealt with via the instant messaging feature. My case manager (Pamela) was always transparent and kept me up to date with all proceedings of our case. From their instruction, the remortgage process took only 2 weeks to get to completion. Great Service.

Oct 03,2022We were really impressed with their handling of the whole process, from start to finish. In the past, we have dealt with several other conveyancers, who have been quite frankly, awful. However, the same cannot be said for GPL, who have honestly been a pleasure to deal with. They have made everything so easy, and did exactly what they said they would, in a timely manner. In addition, their online portal (G:PortL) is perfect for the job. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending their services and are genuinely impressed - hence this review! Good service deserves praise.

Oct 03,2022I am very happy with my experience with Gordons Property Lawyers, I was recommended them through NatWest as I was re-mortgaging. I cannot fault how they have been with me, they have been quick to respond to my queries, I think the messaging service works really well and they made it as pain free as possible for me with me filling in their questionnaire they sent to me at the beginning of the process. I would definitely use Gordons Property Lawyers again and I can't see why there are previous negative comments about them as they are a great solicitors to use.

Sep 24,2022Absolutely hopeless at processing a straight forward sale with no chain - impossible to contact on the phone, slow to respond and no urgency to proceed to exchange and completion from Gordon’s at all. Received a report back from the lender today and valuer confirmed the value of the property but Gordon’s are claiming there is conflicting information from the lender and they can’t proceed. Do not recommend.

Online portal is effective and used effectively by Gordons. Felt I could access status updates, understand the end-to-end process, and outstanding actions are clearly highlighted. My solicitor handled my remortgage with ease and was always prompt to respond to any queries. Would not hesitate to recommend....

The automated set up of some of the system was offset by regular and personal messages from a single contact at GPL which gave me confidence that there were 'eyes' on my case as it went through. And any issues along the road were dealt with efficiently by my contact who was easy to communicate with and to understand so thank you Victoria :)
