Apr 27,2022My name is Calvin Jupin and I would like to share my overall experience with Great North Visa. I have had a good experience with Great North Visa in the sense of their service and their guidance throughout my process of obtaining my student visa successfully. They were willing to answer all my questions to their best of their knowledge and responded to my emails in an adequate timeframe, even contacting me when I requested them to. There were times that I was a bit frustrated and felt that this was a bit of a hoax, however I contacted a few of the RCIC representatives to ensure that this was all legitimate and they confirmed that they have done business with them on a contact referral basis. (I have emails to prove and you can search the people on the RCIC website for their license number and contact information too) I would say I have not had a pleasant experience with my account manager but I had a great experience with the immigration team and contact services team, where they always answered my calls, responded to my emails guided me through the process. (Shout out to Abe Solomon and Simon Quinn for their help, really appreciated your service). I have also had an experience with the refund process. There was a mistake on their end, however they did not take long to fix and offer a proper refund. The refund did take its time to get paid but it was paid and eventually I felt more relieved to see that you will get your money, but you have to put in the effort to ensure it. I do agree that maybe the payment process could be done a bit differently and is a bit expensive. But I do understand that, that is why they do this, because one will start the process and eventually bail out and then all the work was done for nothing. That is why, if you do not feel comfortable paying then rather leave it. But I can assure you that you will find that this is the way it is basically done everywhere. Payment first, then Service. I do believe you could do everything on your own and that you do not need representatives or agencies to help you. But if it were not for them, I would have probably not received my study visa or even gotten a passport request. They do not do much for what you pay like arranging flights and job offers and colleges but they do guide you in what to do, where to go, provide sites and help with studying material for IELTS and arranging the RCIC representative, which I do believe that is where their service fee goes to. I do want to emphasize that Great North Visa does not guarantee you a visa approval or a faster way to immigrate to Canada... and that to me, showed that they were professionals and did not act like scammers. Overall I do believe that some people have had issues with them and that they were not happy with their service or their prices. My advice to you, is that Great North Visa helps quite a few people and only the ones that have had a bad experience with them write bad reviews and the ones that had an okay experience or were satisfied with their service do not write reviews and therefore they look like a poor company to do business with.

Apr 10,2022Tried to insist on payment of $US1450 on first contact via phone. Would not accept any delay of more than 15 mins for payment. Worrying and almost fell for it. Link was via canada2036.com website. Lesson learned - stick to gc.ca domain names.

Feb 19,2022So Great North Visa - removed my original review. Interesting. Basically this is my experience. 13 months, $5k later we have been waiting and they completely blank you and communicate just enough to keep you strung along. They have never been able to produce an application number and looking into them the immigration consultants are not even aware of who they are! Clearly there this something illegitimate about this business as we finally got word from the Canadian immigration and they have found NO record of our application. Early in the process they sent a fake receipt which I verified as such, more recently they have told me there isn't a receipt they received. Buyer beware!

Nov 17,2021great north visa - thank you! wonderful experience received my working holiday visa (finally!). appreciated your support, hoping to get to Canada as soon as possible. btw - read the negative comments below.... yeah well getting to Canada costs money, and it's 100% certain you'll get your visa. that sucks. buit that doesn't mean Great north won't work their a** to get you there.

Sep 29,2021We had a really poor experience with Great North Visa as we tried to get started on our process. TL;DR: They were rude, unwilling to answer questions, and condescending. They wanted us to be ready to get started from the moment they called us and were unwilling to answer questions about what the process was like or what to expect. The account manager who called seemed miffed that we were wasting her time by having questions instead of being immediately ready to sign up. She said she would send a follow up email but did not. I went to the website again hoping to get another person. She called back and expressed how difficult the process was and that there were sixty different types of visas and pushed us to sign up, but again would not answer questions about the process or even who would be on our team representing us. She was very condescending and seemed irritated to be asked questions and when I told her she was acting like I was ridiculous for asking, she basically said I was, though if I am going to spend $800 on their service and $3000-$6000 to immigrate, I would like to know what expertise is being represented within their service. I really would want a service that can answer basic questions, like who I would be working with and what the process is like, and is willing to answer them without being demeaning. Regarding their below response, I had already reached out twice about getting a different account executive but didn’t hear back until I left a negative review--I gave them my information after the below message and still haven't heard back from them. They say I was assigned Emma but I never received a call or email from her, and Great North Visa has not reached out directly.

Sep 27,2021They are fraudulent people creating fake reviews and not responding to people they defrauded. They don’t stay in Canada or know anything or have identification with Canada immigration. There scam me of £8000 did nothing, stopped responding to emails and calls.

Sep 24,2021I have a problem with this Company not responding to emails once payment goes through but prompt to respond before payment or any transactions calling every now and again. Please respond to emails and refund customers if they state they no longer require your services due to lack of trust its not a good indication when you start ignoring your customers after taking money passing them from pillar to post WTH! At some point I couldn't respond my Account was hijacked I guess a hacker in your team until other bad reviews popped up. Regarding my response to two of their query below, you have been ignoring my response since 26th September, 2021 and only bothered to respond after other bad reviews popped up what a terrible service !!! You only responded to my review complaint two days ago 4th October,2021 since 26th September, 2021? what a joke!!. You have my telephone number and reference you know what am talking about your case manager called took payment and then disappeared into thin air and stopped responding to my messages and someone else rang me ( I got all your names on email btw) and tried to offer me 1000USD after taking 3200USD (which was a hidden charge) + 750USD ( initial charge) for some baseless evaluation which IRCC does for free; it only costs CA$825 processing fee per adult for Express Entry if one is eligible under any category and gets an ITA (Invitation to Apply) and you even tried to force me by saying I agreed to your terms on an online Ad when i never signed nothing you said we need to pay first before you can start the process! you are jokers!! I have an unsigned Docusign on email asking for passport, copy of bank card front and back ( who does that?) and other documents like CV no optimised CV to Canada standards like you earlier said any CV could do at that point after I asked for a cancellation and refund the next day after you took payment you promised to get back to us within 48hours and stopped responding to messages; straight away I smelt a rat the DocuSign link has now expired and you never offered the service I never signed no documents with you to start with you were only quick to charge upfront and can't outline what's next how on earth? its daylight robbery!!! You are scam judging by latest negative reviews the rest of the good reviews must have been written by people within the same organisation judging by the dates they were all written in August/September 2021 Canada wasn't even open for travel at the time uptill now except essential travel; this is on Canada Immigration official website they are only issuing Visas to people travelling to do essential work, or to unite with family members or dying family (I have family in Canada who are Citizens for more than 25 years) and Permanent Residency at the moment is issued only for Canadian Experience (for those with work experience already in Canada not outside) or those who had PR before Lockdown but couldn't travel. You admitted that you delayed why was that? and you are now asking for phone number or reference go check your emails its there! You know what am talking about up till now you have not resolved the problem you tried to pass me to different folks from pillar to post and tried to offer less i.e USD1000 meanwhile you took $3200 + $750 = USD4750 in total that's what you took off me what a rip off!!. I see someone here saying you tried to charge them USD 5000 upfront and then another USD5000 a month later? Really? Sheer greed? I doubt if you are licenced by IRCC if you are , you are just in it to scam people there are quite some evidences here already; you have a dot co.uk domain i doubt if you are based in Vancouver even on Instagram you follow no one why? Because you are scam period. The 5 star Reviews must be fake. Anyone reading this should avoid them by all means before you get scammed big time and they will be pretending to respond on here using cheap talk and practically doing nothing in theory to resolve the problem just buying and wasting victims time😡. Regarding my response to their last response here ; I have an email from you offering USD1000 as last and final offer!! stop lying and misleading the public by saying my case is still under review I give honest reviews based on my experience with your Company; I have evidence to prove everything I'm saying. Give a full refund stop robbing unsuspecting people who tried to patronise your business its bad enough for the reputation and integrity of your organisation! I know many people I could have referred but not the way things stand at moment with all the hide and seek that you are playing In response to your last reply, I didn't see no 20page evaluation stop making factless statements that cannot be backed up by any substantial evidence

May 08,2022just letting you know I have reported you and your company. I believe you have scammed me out of all my money of $3500. I don’t believe it takes all the time it has taken you. I have read other reviews and you have managed to scam them out of more money. I genuinely believe you were trying to scam me out of more money as I got a call half way through the process to pay another $1500. Luckily I noticed which I thought was very unprofessional. All the emails you sent throughout were catching up on money you wanted from me. After doing the application myself the only way my application would end up back in the pool would be if you declined the application or you lied. You did not even send me the form to fill in for the Family CIC form. $400 an hour is very unrealistic. The first 15 minutes on the phone with you and you demand $1500 otherwise my ‘slot will be taken’ to go to Canada which was also a lie. You won’t give me any money back or even a partial refund which I find disgusting. This cost does not even cover insurance or flights. You communicated enough to keep me strung along and could not even give me my Gkey login details to see where my application was. This is complete fraud.
