Securely packed and delivered by UPS, which always helps as I they rarely let you down. When I consider my next purchase, Guitar Village will be top of the list. Aug 30,2022I bought a guitar by mail order here and then two weeks later purchased a second one which I went to pick up myself. The mail order service was perfect. The guitar arrived as promised, well packed and perfectly set up. For the second guitar I phoned to check some specs and then purchased on the web intending on having it delivered. Then I decided to go pick it up myself and I was pleased to hear that they were going to make sure the tech had checked it before my visit. The guitar was set up perfectly and ready as promised. The shop itself is amazing. I have never seen so many hight quality acoustic guitars in one place. Everything from lower to higher end, all beautifully presented. The staff were perfect and accommodating too.

Aug 24,2022I am lucky enough to own an excellent acoustic/ electric, a Dick Knight Jumbo in maple and spruce built for me by Dick in 1974. It has a neck profile based on a Strat that Dick had knocking around and it is a total joy to play and, over 48 years, has only improved with age. Trouble is, I haven't! The much-loved Knight is now a bit big and a bit heavy for me. I searched around the reviews for something that would give me the same excellent playing satisfaction as the Knight, while being smaller and lighter. On the 2nd August my grandson and I drove to Farnham to one of my all-time favourite guitar shops, Guitar Village, with my credit card burning to unload money. I have to say, both the guitar and the buying experience were excellent! The service was attentive and knowledgeable without being the least bit pushy. The Martin is more than living up to my expectations with a beautiful level of craft and mind-boggligly great tone, both acoustically and plugged in. Many thanks Guitar Village for a terrific experience and a new 'friend'

Met Adam when I walked in, he asked me what I was looking for, told him my budget and ideal guitar and he set me up with around 5 guitars. He gave me ample time to try each and would pass by every now and then to ask if anything was needed. Just incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant - best guitar shop I've been to [the ES 335 is fantastic]. Thanks Adam!

Aug 17,2022Bought a Fender Telecaster from this shop for my daughter - it was priced competitively but what made me opt to buy from here is that it is clearly a guitar specialist with staff who take time to unbox, check and set up the guitar prior to sending it (versus the many other stores which simply seem to be middlemen who buy stock in bulk and then send it out to the customer). I ordered the guitar on Sunday 14th Aug, it was dispatched around lunchtime on Monday 15th Aug and arrived with me via UPS just before 9am on Tuesday 16th Aug. Everything was perfect and the guitar came with a card showing it had been set up and checked by no less than 3 people. A first class experience, faultless and highly recommended.

Apr 29,2022Having carried out my research, I took the plunge on my first US built PRS. My last two experiences with Guitar Village were excellent and this time was no exception. The guitar was set up properly, sent immediately and arrived safely. I’m a very pleased PRS newbie. The gig bag was a disappointment but this is nothing to do with Guitar Village and standard issue at this price point - I will search out a hard case… Highly recommended. Michael East Sussex

Apr 09,2022Nice store, very unique premises. I enjoy looking around. I would like to remark that they don't seem to want to touch a 'part exchange' transaction with a barge pole, despite advertising this. The gentleman I spoke to had a very take it or leave it attitude when discussing a potential p/ex, he frankly didn't want to know. A shame as I would like to give them my money over the larger corporate stores yet the latter offer a better p/ex deal.

Feb 27,2022What a wonderful place full of top quality guitars and very helpful staff. Picked up a lovely PRS SE that I saw initially on the website, 2.1/2hrs drive south and purchased that guitar. Adam(I think) was great to deal with and went the extra mile to make the GV visit well worth the journey. Highly recommended both for the shop and the staff. Look forward to another visit.

Feb 12,2022Spent a wonderful morning being attended to by the very helpful and knowledgeable Richard, who patiently talked me through the many ranges of excellent acoustic guitars in stock. Nothing was too much trouble, and after trying what seemed like every guitar in the shop I settled on a beautiful Eastman AC522CE. I've been in a fair few shops since I first picked a guitar up back in 1972, but this one is now firmly at the top of my favourites list.
