The person who made it all possible and smooth was my co ordinater Devrim , can’t thank him enough. Highly recommended great experience. Loved every bit of it. Looking forward to my journey and a new me.

Aug 18,2024Ich empfehle Duygu Cabaz als Beraterin!!! Ich wurde am 15.07.2024 operiert bei Dr. Serkan Gökpinar. Mir hat seine Arbeit sehr gut gefallen😍😍ich würde sogar nochmal zu ihn gehen wenn eine op notwendig ist. Seine Hände sind so leicht.Das Krankenhaus personal sowie Hotel Personal eine 10/10 man kann einfach nicht rum meckern. Alle sind so freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Duygu antwortet sehr schnell, da muss man sich keinen Kopf machen. Ich empfehle Duygu !!!! Sie hat mir sehr geholfen, ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke Duygu und Dr. Serkan Gökpinar ❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍

Aug 17,2024I had my gastric sleeve surgery on Tuesday with Gozde International Hospitals at Ozel Saglik Hastanesi.I also had a hiatus hernia that had also been repaired by the excellent surgeon Dr Mehmet Deniz.. I travelled from UK by myself, but I never felt alone. I would like to give a big shout out to Victor that always put a smile on my face. The whole team are an excellent family. Thank you all and I cannot wait to update you with my progress.

Aug 16,2024Had the gastric sleeve in July had Batuhan Yetki as my coordinator and he's amazing I was so worried about having surgery abroad but it's the best thing I've done I've lost 2 stone 2 in 3 weeks and feel so much better in myself I was at the eco hospital in Izmir and I received better care there than I do on the NHS in England

Aug 16,2024I attended Özel Sağlık Hastanesi for a gastric sleeve surgery by Dr Elgin Aslan in September 2023. The initial Care appeared good however after being rushed around the hospital like a chicken at 7am in the morning (litrilly a group of us running after our coordinator from test to test) despite having them all done in seconds I was given the green light for surgery. I woke up in severe pain however was told it was normal yet the nurses seemed fed up and didn't wanna be there. After telling them I need pain relief I was finally. Given it. I returned home after 3 nights and began the liquid diet as advised followed by the soft diet. Following protein goals as instructed to the tee I quickly found myself STARVING. immediately i thought there was something up as they're supposed to remove 80-85% of your stomach including the top of your stomach called the FONDUS where the hunger hormone cells live. So, why am I hungry 6 weeks post op? I tell them. They say eat more protein..so I do. Again the scales are not moving, why can't I loose weight? Take a food journal they say, adamant that it's all fine and it's my fault. Least forward 5 months PO I decided to get a professional opinion on why I'm so hungry and not loosing weight. (I started at 26 stone 13lbs) and only lost 3 stone in the first 6 weeks not a single 1lb since. What do you know...I have a CT scan privately in the UK to find most of my stomach is still there! This was a fasting CT scan too meaning my stomach was empty at the time of the scan. I've been checked and have no other medical conditions or issues with my health. Godzes drs asked me to once again get in contact with the coordinator which would speak to the 'Big boss' .. not heard a peep other then 'they will contact you soon' but actually haven't. I've even did a GDPR request with my private hospital in the UK. (SPIRE HOSPITAS) and got a copy of my abdo/pelvic CT Scan and sent it to the coordinator along with the consultants letter, still they do not care.. £2750 English pounds I spent plus £300 for the flight and weeks of pain, for what? To heal from a surgery that was not correctly performed by a hospital that concentrates on money over professionalism. Godze are very greedy and want as many surgerys performed.in 1 day as possible meaning mistakes are made. Why I put my life in the hands of this hospital I will never know AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Aug 14,2024Schlauchmagen Operation 10.6.2024 Die Operation verlief super , der Arzt der mich operiert hatte war super Die Pflege Kräfte der Station waren auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit!!! Das Hotel war auch klasse Die Dame die für mich zuständig ist für die Kommunikation war eine Zeit lang sehr zuverlässig aber dies änderte sich mit der Zeit Ich habe seit etwa 3 Wochen keine Antwort mehr bekommen Schade das dort mit einer lebenslangen Kommunikation geworben wird und dies nicht stattfindet! Ich habe Gott sei dank meinen Arzt in Deutschland der mir zur Seite steht Ich empfehle die Gözdem Klinik für solch eine Operation aber man sollte sich immer bewusst sein das es eine massen Abfertigung ist und erkundigt euch bei euren Hausarzt ob es eine Möglichkeit der weiter Behandlung gibt nach dieser Operation! Aber ich bin total glücklich mit dem Ergebnis und der Heilungsprozess ist super 👍🏻 Danke an meinen Operateur 👍🏻 Dieser bekommt von mir 5 Sterne

Aug 13,2024Alp was my co-ordinator and from the start made me feel completely at ease with the whole process. Arranging the surgery and informing them of flights was easy and painless and information regarding what happens when I land was sent so that I knew what was going on. The hospital was amazing, the pre op tests were thorough, the ward staff and my surgeon, Dr. Mehmet Deniz was fabulous. He answered all my questions, and stopped my nerves as I was nervous as hell about the actual op! Once done, I was up and out of bed within - couple of hours. I never needed to ask for pain medication and although some of the staff struggled with English they made sure I understood everything that they were giving me and what it was for. Discharge was also thorough and we met Dr Deniz and his team, and also a nutritionist to answer any questions that we had. 9 weeks post Op and everything is really good.. no issues, no problems and losing weight really well. I would go back in a heartbeat and wish I had done it sooner!

Well where to began from start to finish these guys have been amazing truly exceptional customer service and support. My experience on this hospital and staff are highly recommended and would recommend 5*

Aug 10,2024Seid bitte vorsichtig bei diesen Leuten. Nach der Lungen OP haben wir die Übersetzerin und die Ärzte damit konfrontiert, dass man mit dem Ergebnis absolut unzufrieden ist. Die Nase sieht schlimmer aus als vor der OP. Daraufhin sagte die Dolmetscherin, dass die Nase gut ist, obwohl man ihr ausdrücklich sagt, dass es nicht der Fall ist. Die Vorbereitungen waren katastrophal. Es ist nachts jemand in das Zimmer gekommen und wollte Blut abnehmen. Die Tupfer sind auf dem Boden gefallen und es wurde damit desinfiziert. Kommunikation sehr schlecht. Nur vor der OP wird kommuniziert danach nicht mehr.

Aug 09,2024Honestly cannot thank this place enough I had my gastric sleeve done on the 5/8/24 in Izmir OzelSaglik Hastanesi hospital I flew from Manchester for this procedure and I was not one bit disappointed with any of my time here from start to finish the staff couldn’t do enough for you my surgeon was Dr. Mehmet Deniz he’s soo lovely and amazing! Thankyou all for giving me a new meaning to my life from the bottom of my heart I appreciate you all and will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know! Aug 09,2024After having previous experience of this hospital in February 2023 I didn't hesitate choosing them again for my own Gastric sleeve, August 2024. Batu has always been my co ordinator for both myself and my Mum. He is worth his weight in gold! Nothing is too much to ask, he responds almost immediately and is extremely knowledgeable. Everything was explained in great detail, transfers and arrangements made in good time and I had no concerns. We arrived early in the morning and were collected from the airport in a clean, tidy minibus with a friendly driver. We were taken straight to the hospital and admitted. I was shown to my room - large, extremely clean and well equipped. Shortly afterwards I was collected and taken to have the various tests completed. The lady who took our bloods and inserted the cannula was amazing, first attempt and no hesitation. We completed all the tests bar the CT scan, as the machine was broken. At this time we were given a bit of a selling pitch regarding the staples used in surgery. It was quite a hard sell and the ladies I was with were convinced. I was happy to go with the standard staples, though I was discouraged by the co-ordinator and we were told we had less than 5 minutes to make our decision. I did feel very pressured into making that decision which is not something I would have usually decided upon. However, it was my decision and I was not forced. I was then taken back to my room and collected again about 10 minutes later for my endoscopy. When I came around from my endoscopy I was in a corridor facing 3 doors and there was no communication. I was then taken to surgery and strapped down to the bed whilst awake ( a little disconcerting but helped by a friendly smiley nurse). When I woke up in recovery I had horrible shoulder pain, but otherwise OK, minimal discomfort. The next day passed uneventfully. Up and about with minor discomfort. The following day we were visited by the co ordinator who advised that as he had mentioned prior, if the surgeon found something during surgery, they would automatically resolve that and then bill after surgery. They then presented us with a £500 bill for repair of a hernia. Of course, that can't be helped, it just felt a little bit of a stinger, having already spent an additional £250. There were three of us on that day, and between the three of us, one other lady was charged an additional £750 for different reasons. The other lady was charged somewhere in the same region. Including an added £90 on discharge for additional medication. When I accompanied my Mum in February last year, there were a group of 8 ladies. Not one of them were charged extra for anything. I have just left feeling a little uncomfortable and slightly taken advantage of. The thing that made Gozdè International stand out was their transparency, and I hope they don't lose that. The staff are friendly and helpful, Batu is amazing and is an absolute credit to the organisation.

Aug 03,2024Dental Implants One thing everyone should be aware of is that once the procedure is finished and you return home, you won't get any aftercare especially if something has gone wrong during the healing process. They rely on the fact you will not return (language, costs) to complain direct. I had full mouth implant work done in 2022 and 2023 by Gozde Hospitals in Izmir. Although my agreement was with Gozde, they sub-contracted all the work to DentGlow in Izmir. In late December 2023 (5 months after installation) I noted that the upper denture had cracked. I reported this to a Gozde representative in January 2024 but since then I have not had one positive reply. Clearly there is a problem with the denture as it should not have broken. I was told that DentGlow will carry out the necessary repair works but now, no one is responding from Gozde. Even the Senior people (International Dental Coordinator) have changed their phone numbers and ignoring messages. They contacted me when this review was uploaded hoping that I would rescind it...but still no reply on the actual problem. Very much regret going to Gozde for this work

So far , my treatment coordinator Efe has been so helpful so far very quick to respond and very knowledgeable helping me with any questions/concerns I have. So far I’m feeling very well supported and very much looking forward to my treatment. I am giving 4 stars for now as I can update once I have had my treatment.

Aug 19,2024Having followed Dr Mehmet Deniz's page and his team for a year, I finally built up the courage to make the trip from Zimbabwe to Turkey. I was so confident in them I did the trip alone. I was picked up from the airport, taken to the hotel, next morning met with Victor who would be my coordinator during my stay, had all pre-op tests done and results explained. Met Dr Deniz, who explained the procedure. Woke up from Surgery and was taken to my private suite, very clean room, nurses have limited English but they have so much experience with Gastric Sleeve Patients that we some how understood each other. LOL. Every morning Dr Deniz and his team will come and check up on you and explain/answer any questions you might have. I would say, the first 24 hours post surgery are the hardest, the gas pain is unimaginable, but you literally wake up the next morning feeling like it never happened. I am 19 days post op currently and 7kgs down! I only wish i had done this sooner!!!!!!! Thank you to Dr Deniz and your team! Natasha.xx
