Nov 24,2021Hastings have been agents for my flat since I first rented it out 5 years ago. They have provided a good service and found reliable tenants with minimal gaps. In fact with the latest rental Kay managed to find a tenant two months before the current tenant was moving out. I have always a speedy response to any questions I have had.

Nov 09,2021Terrible experience with Hastings so far as a tenant. Property manager is incapable of arranging works through a reliable/reputable agency & in-general discourteous. I've had to chase the property manager for weeks in order for them to confirm work, let alone arrange it.

Oct 26,2021I have worked with Hastings International (Rotherhithe branch) for three times. First they successfully helped me sell my property back in 2015. It was such a smooth process which was greatly appreciated by the buyer too. Secondly, they have been managing one of my properties since 2018. They have been excellent in finding the best tenants. They are very attentive and able to resolve issues promptly when needed. Lastly, I am their customer as a tenant too :). They have worked hard to find the perfect property. They have put incredible amount of efforts for us. Such a great team working in harmony. Would be a very long list to include all here but special thanks to Stevie, Louise, Abel and Mark. Having experienced all sort of services, I can highly recommend Hastings International without any hesitation.

Oct 14,2021Rented an apartment with Hastings and the process went smoothly. There was a leaking problem in the apartment and they sent someone to fix it the next day after I report it. When I was trying to renew my tenancy, Key was very helpful and responded promptly. Highly recommend!

Kay is always on time for renewals and completes the transactions quickly and efficiently. Jul 24,2021As usual, I set a reminder 3-months in advance for tenancy renewal of my UK unit. This year, I did the same and have Kay of Hastings to help me on. I sent an email to Kay and asked her about whether the tenants have intention to renew. Kay is very responsive. She was not only acknowledged my email but also let me know that she has already marked this as her to-do item. She set a timeline for the tenants to confirm her. Once she got the confirmation from the tenants, she reverted to me immediately. With COVID that have caused difficulties to many people, I decided to maintain the terms which were well accepted by the tenants. After I reverted to Kay about maintaining the same terms on renewal, she acted speedily and liaised with the tenants. We concluded and signed the renewal agreement electronically within hours (even with 7 hours time zone difference). Kay was very helpful and responsive.

Jul 14,2021Avoid this letting agent to save yourself a lot of time and money. It takes weeks for them to arrange critical repair works and they are reluctant to pay for any non-essential works; I was told this by numerous engineers who carried out work at the flat, they made recommendations but warned that Hastings never pay for these works. The property management team are extremely rude are a complete nightmare to deal with, when it comes to reclaiming the deposit they will charge for existing damage and completely disregard any email correspondence when submitting final claim amounts, it is scandalous. We changed a tenant part way though our letting period and the inventory check needed to be redone. We were given no warning prior to the inventory check being carried out. Many of our items were included in the new inventory check and Hastings refused to remove them despite us telling them via email, they also created absurd charges for cleaning despite us still living there. When it came to the end of the tenancy they refused to take the original inventory check and the email chains discussing the removal of our personal items as proof that items were not originally in the flat. By far the worst company i've had to deal with. Avoid this company at all costs, absolute parasites.
