Mar 23,2024Appalling customer service from general staff to head of customer service. Placed a sizeable order which due to online issues went through twice (the one that went through with incorrect details). Called and emailed within a minute to correct but despite that goods dispatched. This was despite explaining and sending emails before goods dispatched but they were not prepared to listen. Was recommended by someone due to their customer service but far from it. Be careful. Will take business elsewhere to their competitors who offer a better service.

Mar 21,2024I did not purchase. I checked , and even if a zip or seam becomes faulty , on trousers,after wearing they will not accept responsibility. Absolutely no returns if the trousers have been shortened - even if by H&C. After a discussion, they said they would CONSIDER if the fault appears within 28 days, and THEY did the shortening. Too many hoops and hurdles- and ALL of their trousers are “unfinished”, so ALL require shortening

Mar 17,2024Purchased a suit online, when arrived colour was nothing like shown online, huge difference in colour, yet it took a week for an agreement for me to return it and then 10 days to receive a refund, considering a lot of money is taken off you and the product is misrepresented, the whole returns process is extremely poor

Mar 15,2024Poor manufacturing quality - I own a number of Hawes & Curtis shirts that have been worn numerous times over the years. I purchased two white shirts in October 2023 and have only worn one of them 3 or 4 times - the seam has ripped on the arm all along the sleeve placket through no fault of my own, I was wearing it under a jumper and when I removed my jumper during a restaurant dinner, I finally noticed the sleeve was extensively ripped after some time. I complained to Hawes & Curtis, especially considering the purchase was within 6 months and the shirt had hardly been worn, under Consumer Rights and the fact the shirt clearly was not of satisfactory quality, I should have been offered a refund, repair or replacement. They concluded it was wear and tear due to my elbow rubbing on the material, and after much distain and continued emailing, I was only offered a 15% refund! Shocking excuse, shocking attempt at a resolve. I will not be purchasing any more Hawes & Curtis and will ensure my family and friends will also be aware of this shameful customer service and diminishing quality. I see there have been a number of recent issues reported in relation to ripped garments - so it clearly is poor manufacturing and find it offensive that I have been fobbed off with "wear and tear" from my elbow!
