This has got to be the most useless customer service in history. Size guides that are misleading, No product knowledge, no guidance, no answer, no email reply, no reply at all. You are on your own all the way. Just absolute silence. A shame I can't give less than 1 star! And I'm still waiting on reply/answer.

Absolutely horrendous experience with Hawes & Curtis - DONT BUY FROM THEM IF YOU ARE ORDERING INTERNATIONALLY. I have ordered 2 shirts that were both in stock 9 days ago and nothing has happened - they haven’t even been shipped yet. I’ve contacted costumer service 3 separate times where I’ve been told I need to contact a separate company that apparently takes care of international orders - instead of taking responsibility for the communication between their distributors. I contacted the separate company 4 days ago and have heard absolutely nothing. So I just wasted over 100€ which I will never get back.

I ordered 5 shirt from them on novembre 24. I still have received them yet. I have contacte the customer services that is useless as they told me that they can't do anything for me. They looks like a scam. I won't recommend to order them anything are they are only stealing your money

Éviter cette marque, tout comme la personne au dessous j’ai commandé via le site le 26 décembre, depuis le 31 je n’ai pas de nouvelle de mon colis, on me balade à droite à gauche. J’ai payé une livraison à 7€ qui devait soit disant permettre que le colis arrive en 3 jours, il n’en est rien. J’ai perdu 155€ et en plus c’était pour un cadeau je suis très déçue

Used to have much better designs. Everything now is paisley and flowers. There's nothing wrong with that but it's becoming a bit repetitive. In the past they had amazing satin shirts, stripes, checks and white collar/cuff in their casual selection (not for the office). I still have some and they have lasted really well. Shame they've gone so safe.

Order wasn’t delivered to my address. Address was sufficient for Royal Mail to find right address. Told to raise issue with Paypal as insufficient address. As far as i’m aware company didn’t raise a query with Royal Mail either. Response to Hawes response: As i said in my review, the address provided is enough. Royal Mail website only points to where i live. Did you raise it with Royal Mail? I use Paypal alot and never had wrong delivery before. Never. Further response after Hawes replied again on 8th Jan: You said it was delivered to the correct address. That’s absolutely what i’m refuting and said as such to your colleague. That address and postcode provided is not anywhere else. It only pertains to my managed building block (and again can confirm it was not left with out concierge/the picture does not match their storage). I even checked the Royal Mail website and the address Paypal provided only points to where i live.

I needed a wardrobe refresh and wanted an overcoat, blazer and some shirts. After spending considerable time trawling around high street shops and not finding the quality at a price I was willing to pay I began looking online. I ordered some items from several tailoring companies and ultimately ended up getting everything I needed from Hawes and Curtis. I needed to return some items and the refund process worked smoothly, a good company to deal with.

Online shop; their extra slim shirts are not fit for purpose. My husband has 31" waist and is like a beanpole and usually buys extra slim from another leading brand; but these don't fit him. I bought three smart work shirts early for my husband as a treat for Christmas despite them being out of my budget. Yes, I got them in November because I always plan early and the post can be slow. I made a foolish assumption, as there is nothing clear on the shopping page about 28 days returns, He is very slim and I got the extra slim, which fits well from other similar companies,( so that shows how poor this company is too,) and when he opened the box on Christmas Day he was really pleased. When he tried them on a few days later, they were too tight. Customer services refuses to change the size as it's over the 28 days. OK that's the rule, despite me not seeing anything that says that on the shopping page, otherwise I definitely would have waited, but they won't swap it for the other size. How pathetic. We aren't asking for our money back, only to exchange. What difference does it make to them? It's pure meanness. An expensive company should have a decent attitude. And this was the first email to be read on New Year's Day. I hope they face karma in 2025 with that mean spirited attitude. It's no financial difference to them, just pure nastiness. I will never buy from them again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Hawes & Curtis used Royal Mail to post my item. The item was delivered whilst I was at home but left hanging out the letterbox and nobody rung the bell. The item was taken and Hawes & Curtis have said it is not their responsibility. Terrible service for an expensive shirt to use a provider that can’t reliably deliver an item.

I would avoid this company. I purchased some £125 smart trainers, worn only about 10 times over the past 7 months so in immaculate condition… except for a fault at the back of the shoe where the stitching has come apart. Contacted customer services with photos showing the fault only to be told it constitutes “fair wear and tear” and not their problem, which is a self indictment of the quality of their products only being good enough to be worn 10 times before falling apart

The shirt I received. as a gift fur my son, had a defective cuff. I contacted customer service via email and have not heard back after several sent messages other than a robo message that had nothing to do with my issue. Customer service is not handling issue.

Incredible service offered by Aymen at the Liverpool Street branch. I ordered a suit and needed it tailored within 24hours to allow me to wear it to a family member's funeral. Aymen pulled some strings and made it happen for me. We didn't have time to make the complete jacket amendments but I returned a 2 weeks later and again, Aymen not only remembered me but went above and beyond to make sure the suit fit just right.

I had to try more than five times to pay online, i have to go to westfield and still the same, very bad customer service i have to eventually pay by Klana reluctantly. I never know Hewes and Curties had turn to this??? Pls fix your online services.

I bought several shirts from them earlier this year and within 6 months 2 of the shirts had become ripped on the sleeves from stretching. The quality of these products has dropped significantly and the customer service team were extremely unhelpful. Used to be a loyal customer but will be shopping elsewhere for my shirts and smart clothes. Very disappointing.

Worst customer service ever. I ordered a shirt on 10th Dec and was told a day later it was actually out of stock and that I could choose another, fine. I chose another and a day after that was then told that one was out of stock too. I then chose 2 more options and then they went radio silent for 3 whole days. On Monday this week they emailed back to say it was being 'processed'. I emailed back to ask how long this usually takes and by what method it will it be sent as it is now extremely late (I needed it as a gift). Their customer 'service' simply messaged back repeating that it is being processed, which didn't answer my question at all. Lazy, disrespectful attitude considering THEY caused the delay and now I have had to pay for a replacement gift. SEVEN days after the order and still nothing dispatched and they don't even seem to care and take over a day to respond. Edit: Please note that the response below takes no responsibility for the poor customer service which still has no been acknowledged and my queries were not answered until I asked this to be escalated. Will never shop here again.

A really poor experience buying with H&K after many years of buying their shirts. Bought a suit in the sale online, I sized up the jacket to accommodate it being a slim cut, it arrived still too small. A return is being refused on my trousers for this suit because the trousers are finished, in the standard inside leg length of 31 so easily able to re-sell. Why would I buy unfinished trousers to wear? The jacket is not available in a larger size. Other companies in the past have been happy for me to exchange - I offered to purchase a much more expensive suit which has been denied, now I'm left with a suit that a can't make any use of. Also sold me a shirt which was out of stock - I was contacted to pick a different one which I did, pointing out the required size, one too small has now been sent A poor experience - will stick to CT or Lewins in the future!
