Hawes & Curtis Croydon exceeded my expectations! Linda, who helped me choose my new suit was just brilliant. All the staff were so helpful and attentive in making sure I felt comfortable with the fit and colour which was perfect. I will be definitely be going back for some shirts and perhaps another suit - their sales are excellent!! :)

Outstanding service on several occasions from Aymanh at 55 Bishopsgate, London EC2. Great suggestions, nothing too much trouble, minor issues rapidly sorted, and superb shirts, trousers, belt, socks. 10/10

Over the last 13 years, I have ordered items worth thousands of pounds from Hawes and Curtis, mostly online. However, it appear the quality control and customer service have reached abysmal levels. Not only did I receive a defective item that should never have passed quality checks at its £250 price tag, but I was also saddled with processing a return via your pick up service that crawled at snail pace to a returns facility. In the meantime, I am expected to wait for up to 10 additional days to receive an exchange item or get a refund. Seriously, how dare you guys? You seem to have completely lost touch with what customer service means, judging from the AI-sounding customer service agents who read scripted responses to me without an ounce of empathy in their tone; sent me template-generated responses without bothering to fill the blank spaces in the template. You have just lost one, when this process is finally complete. Order 3126678.

If you are looking to be inundated with unwanted marketing mail from this company and their 'partners' make the mistake of buying something from them. I was awash with unwanted and insecure mail (stating the product areas on the outside of the envelope) from these people after buying a shirt in 2023. After receiving lies from them that they did not share customer details with other companies they 'came clean' and said that actually they do and that I must have misunderstood when they said they didn't. And then SILENCE, no more marketing from them. UNTIL NOW ! MAY 2024 and here we go again. They have decided to start sending me unwanted mail again. Once again they have lied and told me that they had no idea I was deleted from marketing and that they do not share details with other organisations. Once again they have backed down and admitted that they DO share details with other marketing organisations. Sadly, so far they have been unable to explain how it is that they have reneged on their previous commitment to send no further marketing.

Nice shirt, delivered quickly. In every picture there is a tie with the shirt. There was no mention a tie wasnt included. I now needto spend more time finding a tie. I would have just bought a set elsewhere. Customer services unhelpful.

Bad customer service please avoid buying from them again. I placed an order online on the 24th of May until today 6/06/24 no order has been dispatched and received no email from them. I have been calling non stop and all I get are lies over lies. I have requested for my money back . Yet no one is willing to refund me. Please don't buy from them again they are very disappointing.

Extremely dissatisfied and disappointing. I ordered an item , was expected with 2-3 business days. On the third business day I still hadn’t received the item and contacted the team to cancel the order and process a refund as I would be traveling and unavailable at the registered address provided. The response received from the team was very unacceptable and showed a complete lack of understanding. Important to note that till date, the item is still showing as not delivered on the tracking system. Utterly disappointing and frustrating

I bought my husband a quite expensive suit and matching trousers along with a few shirts to congratulate him on his new job in January 2023. He barely stepped into the office, as he works remotely 80% of the time and took paternity leave, so he had only worn the trousers twice since the purchase. The third time he tried to wear the trousers, he noticed the fabric was so thin that with just normal movement, the crotch area fell apart. He reached out to Hawes and Curtis immediately, but their customer team responded that there was nothing they could do since it was purchased a year ago. Considering the price and the reputation of this brand, I expected at least subpar quality. However, I was shocked at how quickly the trousers deteriorated and how poorly the customer service team handled our report, offering no constructive solution or remedy.

I sent a detailed email regarding the poor quality of the items received. Your shirts were always of a very good quality. Unfortunately that quality just isn't there now. I raised this with 'customer service' and received no valid response. Just 'i'll pass it on'. They couldn't care less.

Dreadful service! I've only worn and washed this dress 3 times and the seam has already come undone. Responses have suggested I should have spotted fault within 5 day or not washed the garment. I've previously purchased 11 Finery items over the last year or so and had no issues until now. This puts me right off buying directly from Finery in future.

Terrible customer service. I tried to return some items on my order by arranging collection and all 3 times the item wasn't collected due to issues with the label which I did not receive for printing and was told Royal Mail will bring it but they didn't. I contacted H&C and they said there's nothing they can do and they cancelled the return without asking me. The shirts I ordered were also made of nylon like synthetic material despite being described as cotton. They were also extremely undersized. Would not order again.

get more up to date for ordering, not all sizes in store, that's fine, but couldn't order into store missing sizes, told to go on line, but not all available there either, and could back order/pre order, and to get all four sizes we would have had to go to stores throughout London. we couldn't even pay for delivery from these stores. staff very good, process lets the whole company down. M&S got the business, and subsequentially, the add ons, four suits and shoes.

I’m 6’1” tall, broad shoulders, 50+” chest and44” waist. Although I haven’t bought your knitwear, the sizes fall short on sizing which is too small, typical of way too many vendors of knitwear. If these could be stocked in the future, then my rating hopefully goes up to 5 stars.

Bought three woven silk ties in January and two of them now have snags (in normal wear). Was advised by Customer Service that its "an issue of pilling and not a manufacturing fault" and to buy a "pilling brush" - and would then have to sort out the problem myself. I sent them pix of the problem and it doesn't seem to be pilling - but in any case it suggests that the ties aren't particularly well made.

The store at 55 BISHOPSGATE staffer Aymanh 10/10. I have purchased suits all around the world and have had suits made bespoke but this staff member was one of the best I have had the pleasure to meet. I will definitely be utilising his knowledgable services again as he made "Off the Peg" feel like "Bespoke" Aymanh, 10 out of 10 service. A credit to H&C.
