Dec 08,2023We live in an increasingly hostile world where often via social media poor feedback is often sited against service providers and conversely good feedback is sometimes overlooked. I recently had the extremely emotional and costly event (in aborted solicitors fees) where my buyer almost at the time of contractural exchange, opted to purchase another local property. To say I wanted to walk away from the whole Conveyancing process would be an understatement. Howkins and Harrison tried so hard to keep the sale but pragmatically accepted that was not an option. Since then they have worked so hard to vet suitable viewers and provided structured feedback. I am so pleased I decided to continue putting my trust in them. I always knew selling my parents home was going to be one of the hardest things I have ever had to do, but ‘Team Towcester’ have been kind and compassionate from day one. Jan 12,2024Having moved into the area after selling our property in Cheshire in 2021, we were hoping to find a property very quickly as we were cash buyers. We wanted to downsize. But then the property market went ‘crazy’. We basically gave the brief to the Ashby team that we would consider anything! They sent us lots of properties via email - Jackie is very efficient - and we eventually bought a small 2 bed semi detached through the Ashby office. The service they gave us was excellent. Although wanting to downsize we knew the house was too small so we spoke to them and gave them a price we would be willing to pay. Again, so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Jackie has been marvellous. A mention too for Andrew. He showed us around most of the properties we viewed. He was also very knowledgable about the Ashby area. We have now found a house. Unfortunately it isn’t one of Howkins & Harrison’s properties but we very much appreciate the excellent service we have received from Ashby office. When we come to sell our current house we will definitely have them out to value it.
