Oct 24,2023Start of the tenancy the windows were smashed and the house was mouldy., and the walls were falling to bits which they tried to hide with bad wallpaper throughout the tenancy asked agency and landlord multiple times for the house to have new windows as the house was freezing cold in the winter and was making me ill, the property did not even reach 18c! now we’ve left the property they are saying we need to clean the skirting boards (even through when we started the tenancy the skirting boards and walls were full of mould) saying we have caused the damage!, AVOID. they have not even tried to rectify any issues from our property throughout the tenancy and beyond not sorted the windows out and not done anything again! and the property is back on the market! on top of this as we was leaving someone finally came to look at the property (which turned out to be the landlord) which he lied to us about and said he was a “contractor” and he has still not fixed the windows after seeing the mess for himself. AVOID AVOID AVOID. they take on dodgy properties with dodgy landlords and don’t fix a single thing after tenancy ends even though they know full damn well the issues with the property! they had the audacity to then make us pay for the damage that was already there on the skirting boards even though we had cleaned the mould of the skirting boards at the start of the tenancy and before they try and say we left the property in a mess at the end i agree we did but only because we did not care in the end because of how we had been treated by this company. and in the end we said they could have the deposit to clean. they can try and deny it all but i have stacks and stacks of emails showing in the 1 and half years they did not fix the windows or the mould inside the property

Mark Glenn at the Northampton office sorted everything out & we had a tenant lined up within a couple of days at the full asking price. He explained the whole process to us being first time landlords & showed us what we needed to do & all the costs involved.
