Easy to order, good price, and best of all I could go and collect it, and not have to wait in for a delivery. The guy in the shop was very helpful when I went to collect my hob.

Very good service Hughes have a lot of washing machines to choose from. It was easy to order online. Plenty of delivery dates were available. We were kept informed of the time of arrival of the delivery, and the men were prompt. They did a good job of removing the old machine and installing the new one, making sure the new one was working and we understood how to use it. A good experience, and the washing machine is working well.

Ordered a Saga oven that was never delivered. No communication at all until my enquiry with them via email. Very poor customer service. Will not use Hughes again.

My Miele dishwasher was crushed inside the packaging and could not replace it as they had no more in stock. They had no idea what actually happened due to Arrow X L not communicating to them. It looked like it was crushed by one of those grabbers you get in the arcades and they said to me their firm does not use it but there is a YouTube advert showing how great their service and Using this attachment to pick up appliances. The people on the end of the telephone keep giving me the wrong information and promising me things that they are not doing it. I’m glad I finally got my money back after a disastrous transaction from Hughes and I will be quite happy to go to another retailer and hope they do any better. The communication in the business and from there courier firms that they use is terrible. if they send you an email with with information and then another person on the end of the phone says don’t take any notice of that why send me the email? when it comes to giving me a refund, they always had an excuse why they could not do it and had to delay it and then delay it and then delay it. You get my drift even if they cannot get another item to match the one that you should’ve had.

Hughes gave an excellent and speedy service when it came to despatching and delivering my cooker with an excellent courier company who kept me updated on delivery right until they were 20 minutes away and then transported the item upstairs and took away the packaging. Top marks for that!. I ordered on line and did not need to speak to staff. Nor can I rate the cooker because it was not for my use.
