Jan 23,2025Wow....where do I start... This company is the worst online retailer I have EVER had the misfortune of dealing with. The fridge freezer i purchased arrived with 6 large dents, the freezer door hanging off and the water dispenser smashed inside. The item was purchased for work so when it arrived the staff member didn't know that I had paid extra to have packaging removed. So didn't question it when the driver just left it in the middle of the kitchen. I arrived the next morning and was shocked to see it still packaged. As soon as I started I knew there was an issue. I took a video of the damage and sent it to Hughes....did anyone get back to me? No. I had to call and to be fair spoke with someone named Sarah who said she was shocked but would arrange another delivery within 5 days. On the day of the new delivery the driver arrived but didn't leave the new fridge OR take away the old one. WHAT !!!! I contacted them and was told someone from Hughes will ring me Again no one contacted me from Hughes. I currently (at the time of this post) still have a broken fridge freezer and have asked for a refund...I've been told they have to collect the old one BEFORE they refund me. I first ordered the fridge over 3 weeks ago...how is this possible.??? Oh I had to contact they delivery company myself too (haha) unreal. Found out that it seems Hughes Electrical have a call centre who deal with all calls I assume they don't hold stock themselves just a website...you order they buy one then send on to customer...could be wrong but I wouldn't wish this company on my worse enemy. Jan 23,2025Everything from ordering to the package arriving was perfect, the only issue I found was when the item was delivered the driver would not wait 1min for me to check if there was any damage, and was very rude, which was a shame, in the email sent to me it says you should check for damages cause if you don't nothing can be done about it...luckily there was no damage...

Jan 22,2025Order process straightforward, delivery as scheduled. Exact replacement for my previous microwave which I had found perfect size for me. Use a lot for reheating homemade soups and curries, chilli, casseroles etc and some cooking. Don't need a fancy microwave, just reliable. Like the fact that it's very easy to select length of time and power.

Jan 22,2025our cooker was not working so called hughes to repair the cooker the team did not turn up on the day they were supposed to they turned up 4 days later and the person sent was really rude and threatening have now been left almost a week with no cooker so not been able to cook food properly and i was promised a call back on friday after i had put in a complaint and got one email saying they had recived my complaint and no phone call and still no cooker

Jan 21,2025I found the vacuum cleaner I wanted at 3 different suppliers. Hughes was significantly cheaper than the others, including Amazon, and the delivery was very quick, next day. I'm very happy with the service I received from Hughes.
