We ordered a tumble dryer from Hughes, unfortunately my husband didn’t measure the depth so it was too big and we had to return it. When we informed Hughes that we wanted to return the dryer the advisor did not inform us that there would be a fee for collection and told us that we would get an email confirmation regarding the collection. In the meantime we had ordered another dryer elsewhere. We did not get the email so we called again to enquire. The advisor then informed us that there would be a collection fee which we had no choice but to pay. The dryer was collected a few days later, however we did not receive a refund. After waiting for 7 days we called to enquire about our refund and were told that we should have contacted Hughes to inform them the dryer had been collected. We informed Hughes that we had not been told to do this and were basically diWe are a little confused and frustrated because of the lack of information that we are given by the advisors each time we call.
