Jan 14,2025Surprise delivery! I had asked for new microwave oven to be delivered to my son's as the Hughes website said they did not deliver to my address. Well, it didn't arrive on time (though heavy snow and icy side roads could well have been a mitigating factor), but it was delivered to our home address which was a fortuitous mistake! So overall, I am delighted with the service and the product, which was the best price I could find by £50 in some cases.

Jan 14,2025Response to Hughes below: still passing the blame - 'unforeseen delays' is not what happened, you know that delivery times to this area are always slower than usual, so it is a KNOWN delay and I should have been informed of this before you took my payment. I will not be commenting further as I have had enough of your customer service and lack of understanding. Really disappointed with Hughes - we live in a fairly rural/remote location and delivery times when ordering online usually always take longer. When ordering online with Hughes, after putting in my address, the estimated delivery time given was in 2 days time. I chose to buy from Hughes on this basis, as we use our washing machine daily and needed a new one ASAP. More than 1 week later now, and there is still no sign of the washing machine, not even an estimated delivery date. Despite contacting customer service numerous times, they are unable to do anything as they are passing the blame to their chosen courier. After researching many different providers, I chose to buy from Hughes, and paid a higher price for the same washing machine which I could have ordered elsewhere, based on their short delivery timeframe promised. To not honour this, and to solely blame the courier, rather than accepting responsibility for misleading the customer, is very poor customer service and I will never buy from Hughes again. Still have no washing machine, for who knows how long.

Jan 14,2025Ordered Tv and paid in full but Hughes delibrately cancelled order and asked to re-order due to price increase. Was told the order will be delivered on Friday and then told its cancelled. Tried to confirm again, they sent a receipt of payment and next day been told that order is cancelled and no reason provided. Poor customer service. One assistant tell something else and other tell different story.
