Feb 19,2025I have numerous items in the past but more recently I purchased a Samsung dryer - it was not installed immediately due to illness but it remained where it was placed by delivery guys but upon unwrapping it it was dented - I contacted hughes who informed me that you have to report defects within 48 hours - I was not informed about this if I had I would have inspected it earlier - sadly last time buy anything from them I had thought using local suppliers would give better customer service

Feb 19,2025Very good service apart from I paid £5 to remove packaging and it wasn’t done when it was delivered, luckily I had a tip slot booked the next day so got rid of plastic, cardboard and polystyrene !

Feb 19,2025Nothing short of a shambles with the delivery company that Hughes Electrical uses; Arrow XL. I was promised a delivery slot of 10:15 to 12:15 and received a call from a driver saying that as the fridge freezer had been wrongly loaded onto the front of the lorry, I would now not receive the order until 3pm to 6pm. I arranged to take the morning off work, but now because of this, I have had to take the full day off!! Also, it is worth noting that my tracking link had not been updated to reflect the delay 🤷. So, I contacted Arrow XL via WhatsApp for a situation report on my delivery. I was astounded to learn that nobody could help as they couldn't get in touch with the driver and had no data at hand to confirm the movements of my order. I then managed to phone the driver of the delivery vehicle who informed me that the fridge freezer had been taken off his vehicle at Dundee 😲..... utterly shambolic way to run a company. Hughes electrical can do better than this. 😔
