We have spoken to other similar companies and none gave the same initial experience or feeling which made us want to choose a venue through her/Ionian weddings even more. I hope it will continue through to our wedding day! Thank you Lucy x

Mar 11,2025We chose Ionian Weddings for our companion to plan our wedding from a bunch of wedding companies because they stood out right away comparing to others. Lucy contacted us rapidly with various proposals and she is such a professional! She is so helpful, kind and always reachable if we have any questions. We ended up booking a venue for October 26 and everything has gone so smoothly this far. Also the Ionian portal is a great tool to keep all the planning info, that was a pleasant surprise! Seems like they really know what they are doing and that makes us feel more secure to plan a wedding abroad.

We enquired about a venue we liked and Lucy was super responsive and helpful, giving us all the information we needed and happily answering the 100’s of questions we had! We have now paid our deposit for our venue and are so excited to be using Ionian for our wedding planning. They have our full trust and have already made things so much easier than we thought they would be!

Nov 21,2024Wow!! What an amazing experience we had with Ionian Weddings from start to finish. For planning a wedding in a completely different country I thought would be beyond stressful but Ionian weddings definitely takes that stress away. Myself and my partner Michael, got married in Massa Lubrense, Italy, September 2024, we had our whole day over at Relais Blu, with our reception down in the Lemon Grove Garden (which was absolutely beautiful with STUNNING views) then up the top on the terrace for our evening. The photos don’t do the venue justice! From first emailing to enquire about our special day, straight up to the day itself, I had great communication from start to finish. Our Wedding Consultant Maria, was amazing all throughout and was very quick at responding to emails and answering any questions I had throughout the planning. She was amazing at keeping on top of everything! On our special day we had two co-ordinators Viola and Rosaria who made the day SO SMOOTH, they made sure everything was on time and running smoothly that we could enjoy our day to the max. Thank you so much for handling our special day and if we could, we’d do it all again! Italy will now and forever be our second home and have such a special place in our hearts ❤️

Nov 06,2024WOW! What a fantastic experience - we first enquired with Ionian back in June 2023. From the first Enquiry to being assigned with a wedding planner (Emma) we were carefully taken through the process. Our 'simple' wedding in Italy did end up being rather more exciting but we wouldn't have changed a thing. Once we arrived in Italy our most wonderful (on the ground planner) Viola checked every detail and was just so lovely! On the day everything was more than perfect, the venue (The Cloisters) was set out beautifully, it is open to the public but everyone was respectful and to be honest we didn't notice and it really is all part of being in Italy. The photographer (Umberto) and the Filmographer (Michaela) met with us and did a great job - we booked the video rather last min but it's one of our favourite things - a great memory to keep. The reception at Castore was beautiful; the team are a family and are so great - everything was considered. The table settings and decorations were perfect. The food was faboulous, and the cake was just as we wanted. Everything was done to ensure our party was wonderful. Our guests had a great time and still talk about it. We can honestly say we had the most amazing day with our family and friends. If your in any doubt - don't be I would recommend Ionian for any of my friends.
